My favorites are the ones from Pasaka (especially white chocolate with raspberries), nykštukas ones are nice and soft, Vilkyškių have more of a cottage cheese flavor, Uriga has thicker chocolate. They are incredible with many different flavors and each brand has a different feel to them. I was surprised they are not common outside of Lithuania, they are easy to make but I guess cottage cheese is not so popular in other parts of the world. I remember eating just cottage cheese mixed with some berry jams as a kid, a simple and tasty dessert
If you re after good hot chocolate and you happen to be in Vilnius go to the national opera and ballet theater, go to an opera and during the break they serve their patented next level hot chocolate, secret recepe, the place is famous for it. Šakotis is a like holiday must, and you more eat it when you celebrate. Same with skruzdėlynas, its a sugar coma too. Spurgytes are awesone but the freash ones you can only get in a fair, or if you live in Palanga. Good video. Keep em comming.
