Alhaitham is right to not give us that much information. Clearly the sole reason is Paimon.
I mean you technically aren't wrong she is a literal floating chatter box. But she's our floating chatter box and personally I would not be happy with anyone who hurt her.
I really enjoy interaction between Kaveh and Al Haitham😂 I would be frustrating like Kaveh too if i got a roommate like Al Haitham

A Easter egg for Indian friends and others who have watched the movie 3 idiots in general. The first two npc students are named rancho and piah from 3 idiots. If anyone noticed..
Rancho is the character played by amir khan and piah is played by kareena kapoor respectively in the movie 3 idiots.
I am truly touched by devs homage to the great movie.

That is perhaps the first time I heard Al-Haithem studder a bit. He was truly stumped to how to proceed to honor his companions. (Goes to show why Kaveh is the one doing the peace deals - i.e giving the Sumeru laborers a job, while Al-Haithem was only able to suggest that they take their business to another land. *Kaveh chastised Al-Hathem's inconsiderate approach on people.)

Alhaitham is one of the most misunderstood characters from this game, his story quest was amazing!!
I agree. I also loved the scenes with him and kaveh the most 😂
This quest is genuinely awesome. I felt the writing and pace here were a step above most other character quest in recent memory. The dialogue was especially impressive for Genshin. Super efficient back and forths and not as much info dumping like Wanderers’ quest suffers from.

Wow, this story quest is good, but a bit too long compared to some of the other quests. I think this should have been split into two parts.
Al-Haithem's level of intelligence is not human. He is vastly superior compared to the likes of Heizou.
Heizou is also pretty smart but he’s just smarter in a different way. I feel like Heizou knows how to connect with people on their level more than Alhaitham who lacks social skills

I wish they made Alhaithem characters have more skills to help us find chests and solve puzzles like changing the elemental soght whenever we use him , it would be so cool, it

I don't get why people always blame Alhaitham's personality when it comes to his bantering with Kaveh. I mean, really? Their bantering usually starts because Kaveh is being sour towards Haitham... Like...
Alhaitham just says "Judging from all the fuss, you three are getting along" and Kaveh is all like "Entertain your own friends!!!" With an annoyed voice.
Then Haitham is chatting with the traveller and Kaveh jumps in the conversation kinda "insulting" Haitham with "That's rich coming from you! If humans are not humans without their humanity, then you'll probably evolve into some other species!".
Honestly, Haitham wasn't even talking to/about Kaveh and wasn't saying anything bad but Kaveh just had to jump in and being a lil bit*h...
And again when they're talking about Siraj... Kaveh says he doesn't remember Siraj, Haitham just says it's normal for Kaveh to not remember him and Kaveh quickly changes the topic saying "Anyway the Akademiya can't be left to you!" and basically adds that only mad people would think that Haitham could be a better sage than Kaveh.
So he kind of starts all of their arguments, Haitham only answers to his sour comments...and of course, being Haitham, his answers are even more bitter and witty than Kaveh's comments.
Mind me, I love Kaveh, it's just that I think he's got his own good part of fault in the two of them are always arguing. It's not only Haitham's fault like everyone seems to think.
