This is amazing! I'm currently an MS2, and this provided a lot of insight. I was working with new PM&R residents at SRAL back in July, so seeing this definitely made me realize how hard you all work. Keep up the PM&R videos :) I'm a big supporter, as I'm extremely interested in pursuing PM&R!!!
That's great to hear!!! You'll enjoy the vid coming today (why I chose PMR). Thanks for the kind words and for watching! Would appreciate sharing the channel with other students you might know interested in the field :D
Awesome Vid! This is the kind of channel i've been looking for. Im interested in applying for a PM&R specialty and i'm eager to see more content from you. Keep it up.👍
Hey there! I just want to say thank you for the video you made about nontraditional med students. I recently want to become a doctor and I'm a nontraditional pre med. I was wondering if you met people who got their pre med degree at a community college and is now in med school? There is not many videos touching on community college pre meds. If you can make a video on community college pre meds I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks again! You have a new subscriber!
Hi Brianna, glad you enjoyed the video! I don't know of anyone who did their premed at a community college so I can't speak directly to it. I would hope that if you can get the grades and do well on your mcat then it should t matter..bias existing it might be more challenging understandably, but don't let that discourage you !
Hi Dr Sutterer, how can I specialize in pediatric rehabilitation? Do I still need to undergo pediatrics residency? Or is PM&R residency and a subsequent fellowship on pediatric rehab the path to it? Thank you
You can do either PMR residency then fellowship, or there are a few combined peds/PMR residency programs where you do both and don't need fellowship. Most people do PMR residency and then a peds rehab fellowship
Awesome insight! Looking forward to hearing more about your PM&R experiences sir!
👍 thanks Chris

How has your call overall in PM&R differed from call during your IM year?
Also, are there any differences in how admissions work?
Can you talk about the specialty?
Yes! I'm working on a video about it right now! Thanks for watching
can you also say how to become one :)
What does a PMR Sports specialist do?
Cool!!! Wish you look

Hi, how many hours on average do you work in PM&R?
50s during residency after intern year . Each program will vary though
Brian Sutterer MD that’s a pretty good number of hours for a residency, thanks
