We also had a RED 560 gas at that point ….and all the equipment was any color dad could afford …dad sold the dairy cows in 1985.. I was 16… I’ve had several jobs since then … Farming is the only thing I really like to do tho…
It's good to have some Red fans here, I've got International Harvester and A.C and some other old equipment vids. Actually found our old Minneapolis Moline advertisements. Very interesting to see how the companies have merged and partnered over thr last 100 yrs. Will prob have the international vids ready to go in a week or 2. Know how it is... farm families are generally Geeen or Red in my area. John Deere service has really fallen off in the last decade... with the consolidation of dealerships... JD parts departments are always short on parts!!! Our local Case IH dealership seems to be a little better, because they are locally family owned! whereas, John Deere will not even allow single family owned dealerships to exist. Parts have been tuff for everyone since 2020.
I have a JD lawn tractor that with its high capacity side discharge looks like a corn chopper chute when it discharges grass. It will be the envy of all your friends !
To feed our Angus Cattle is easy it is grass hay straw and silage in our john deere feeder mixer. I drive over to our Angus Cows, and they say look here breakfast my Wife and my Son and daughter like to watch me from the window my son say mom what's dad do mean Josh he feeding the Angus Cows can I go out there nope you have to wait until your 18 oh sigh 😕

Notice it's always sunny in John Deere land and the wind never blows, and nothing ever plugs or breaks! Got that right. As a kid helping the neighbor dairy farm they used a 70 gas to put corn silage up in the late 60's. That sure made her bark. Loved it.
