Heavy Metal lost his Maestro. Pianist, orchestra maeatro, lyric singer, spoke 5 language. The guy was a genius. Created Viper at 14 and at 16 was already well known in the metal scene, left to finish his music studies, then co-created Angra and the band represents a generation in Brazil. Thought it wasnt enough and left the band to create another huge band: Shaman. Shaman's Ritual was one of the best album in Power Metal history. Everything the guy touched was a sucess. This is the masterpiece in my opinion. This music has a meaning in my life and the lyrics helped me to keep going, carry on and forgot the remais from my past. I had a strong depression and I even tried suicide. My psychologist and some songs such this one helped to understand myself and keep going! Thank you for this reaction. It made me cry because sometimes we forget about the feelings the music pass to us and you kinda reacted like the first time I heard this song! Thanks for that!
Angra had a lot of great musicians in all formations. They are all impressive. I Recomend to you to listen to more songs. They have a lot of variations. Including classical elements, brazilian folk/ethinic music, power, prog and more. Next one give a try to "Unholy wars". So you can hear the second lead vocal.

After Andre the bassist and drummer broke off from the guitarists who stayed with the band Angra, Shaman is considered the real Angra given Andre was the song writer and the heart of the band.
