THINKING ABOUT A SEASON 2 (bcoz that’s almost all i think abt): In my mind, in his original life several centuries ago, he killed his bestfriend (who was a girl) and her family thinking they were responsible for the murder of his fiancé. He then refused to leave earth vowing to find each of her reincarnations and torment her. The god sisters after several centuries finally caught him. For the sisters not to destroy him bcoz he spent too many centuries wandering and full of desire to get revenge, he made the deal to become the new owner. He thought it was the only reason, but what he did not know was the fact that those people he killed when he was alive were innocent. The sisters through the hotel are trying to give him one last chance with the latest reincarnation of that bestfriend he killed. So, shortly after he became the new owner, he meets the reincarnation of that bestfriend. Still full of hatred, he tormented her with the intention of destroying her. He realizes at the last minute that he cannot destroy that ghost because the girl was still alive but in the coma. The ghost was wandering thinking she’s dead, but not remembering how she became a ghost or where her body was (a bit like the situation of the ghost in drama Bring it on Ghost). So he decides to make sure she suffers a lot as a ghost since he can’t kill a living being. He makes her help him with the worst and most dangerous cases. As he keeps making her suffer, he started falling for her pitiful and innocent self (a bit like in the drama Secret) and ends up each time saving her at the last moment. However, a new character appears: the human reincarnation of his fiancée. ML feels bad for liking the person he thinks murdered his fiancée and does everything he can to stay away from the ghost reincarnation of his bestfriend (you know, the phase in kdramas where ML pushes away FL, blablabla. Delicious angsty moments with wonderful sad ost). He also decides to get close to his fiancée reincarnation, take care of her, and protect her. Little did he know fiancée reincarnation was the one who tried to kill the bestfriend reincarnation and got her in a coma. Trying to protect the bitch, he betrays & hurts the ghost. With the betrayal shock (& some other things), the ghost get back inside her body and bestfriend reincarnation wakes up. She does not remember her time as a ghost. On his side, not knowing she’s awake, he feels tormented because ghost has disappeared and even though he’s supposed to hate her, he’s already in love. He wants to find the ghost & explain that even though he wanted to protect fiancée reincarnation, he didn’t plan to hurt ghost. Ofc he can’t immediately find her so we get more deliciously angsty moments. Later he sees her, but she can’t remember him. Knowing she’s awake and fine and realizing he can no longer bear to torment her, he tries to stay away and forget abt her, but can’t help but follow and lowkey stalk her. Fiancée reincarnation on the other hand realizes the girl is awake and tries to kill her again several times. ML finally catches on that fiancée in this current life is the bitch. Now, he’s protecting the bestfriend reincarnation from fiancée reincarnation. However, he still tries to avoid hurting fiancée reincarnation because he feels like he owes her for the original life during which she died because of his bestfriend (at least that is what he thinks happened). Along the way, we all finally learn that actually, bestfriend or her family were not responsible for fiancée’s death in that first life, but fiancée was the evil one since then. So ML had killed bestfriend and her family for nothing. Bestfriend was actually in love with him in that old life and was protecting him from evil fiancée who was cheating on him and using him. I think he is the new owner of this new hotel Blue moon n if there is season 2 I think they will mainly focused on Sohyun but of course they will include IU n Yeo Jin-goo a bit By the way the way they shot the last scenes with that music n his visual my god I got freaking excited n scream so loud like "HELL YEAH "he has such a strong presence even if its for few min we can totally feel it he is totally worth the hype

I heard Kim Soo Hyun's appearance is just so that viewers understand the hotel where the dead goes to rest, still exists. And that they don't have any plans for a second season. HOWEVER I had the exact same thought as you. What if this becomes a whole branch of dramas, with different people being the hotel's CEO. "Hotel Blue Moon" can focus on KSH's character's story and how he became the owner. An entirely different story. IU and Yeo Jin Goo could have a cameo running into KSH as a silly couple being oblivious about the hotel because they lost memories of their previous life.

It's been almost 3yrs and I'm still waiting for another season of hotel del Luna but this time with new owner Kim Soo Hyun and this time with a new hotel name, hotel blue moon. This cameo was fire.
Fun fact: Kim Soo-hyun was in Moon Rmbracing the Sun with Yeo Jin-goo. He was also in Dream High and Producers with IU. And also in You From Another Star with director Oh Choong-Hwan.
He would be brilliant, and to see the kind of strong woman that could tame him would really be worth watching. I really loved Hotel Del Luna they had a great chemistry as well.🙃❤
The first time i saw this scene, the shadow of the man who appeared i though he was Koo Chan Sung who returned to work to become a hotel owner with a different style. After the moonlight illuminated him, it turns out he is Kim Soo Hyun. OMG! Long time no see him in korean drama. Come to think of it, KSH is always synonymous with the moon, the handsome alien from outer planets =) by only saying two sentences, he left the impression of a good and deep expression as a cameo that i have seen so far. For the writer of this script, i give two thumbs up. They made the end that i wanted, the sad ending, the touching end, but also the surprise.
This scene gave me goosebumps with the bgm. This scene reminds me of ep12 in 'It's okay not to be okay', when they go to take a portrait as a family and Kim Soo Hyun enters.

The ghost was wandering thinking she’s dead, but not remembering how she became a ghost or where her body was (a bit like the situation of the ghost in drama Bring it on Ghost). So he decides to make sure she suffers a lot as a ghost since he can’t kill a living being. He makes her help him with the worst and most dangerous cases. As he keeps making her suffer, he started falling for her pitiful and innocent self (a bit like in the drama Secret) and ends up each time saving her at the last moment.
However, a new character appears: the human reincarnation of his fiancée. ML feels bad for liking the person he thinks murdered his fiancée and does everything he can to stay away from the ghost reincarnation of his bestfriend (you know, the phase in kdramas where ML pushes away FL, blablabla. Delicious angsty moments with wonderful sad ost). He also decides to get close to his fiancée reincarnation, take care of her, and protect her. Little did he know fiancée reincarnation was the one who tried to kill the bestfriend reincarnation and got her in a coma. Trying to protect the bitch, he betrays & hurts the ghost. With the betrayal shock (& some other things), the ghost get back inside her body and bestfriend reincarnation wakes up. She does not remember her time as a ghost.
On his side, not knowing she’s awake, he feels tormented because ghost has disappeared and even though he’s supposed to hate her, he’s already in love. He wants to find the ghost & explain that even though he wanted to protect fiancée reincarnation, he didn’t plan to hurt ghost. Ofc he can’t immediately find her so we get more deliciously angsty moments.
Later he sees her, but she can’t remember him. Knowing she’s awake and fine and realizing he can no longer bear to torment her, he tries to stay away and forget abt her, but can’t help but follow and lowkey stalk her. Fiancée reincarnation on the other hand realizes the girl is awake and tries to kill her again several times. ML finally catches on that fiancée in this current life is the bitch. Now, he’s protecting the bestfriend reincarnation from fiancée reincarnation. However, he still tries to avoid hurting fiancée reincarnation because he feels like he owes her for the original life during which she died because of his bestfriend (at least that is what he thinks happened).
Along the way, we all finally learn that actually, bestfriend or her family were not responsible for fiancée’s death in that first life, but fiancée was the evil one since then. So ML had killed bestfriend and her family for nothing. Bestfriend was actually in love with him in that old life and was protecting him from evil fiancée who was cheating on him and using him. ML now feels regretful and too ashamed to face bestfriend reincarnation. In the meantime, bestfriend reincarnation remembers all he has done against her as a ghost and in the original life. More delicious angsty moments ofc. Etc. Etc. and after many turns they solve things and happy ending or open ending. ❤️

Soo true he turned my fellings of sadness and joy for the ending of del Luna to complete excitement and I can't wait for more in seconds with those little moves I mean he just walked to the stars and a few steps up with a drink but the whole feeling of the new hotel is so cold and sexy 😂❄️💙 it probably wouldn't even surprise me if this hotel had more of the vengeful ghosts as guests 😂 can't wait to find out how he will run the hotel and what his past is that got him there 👍☺️
I heard Kim Soo Hyun's appearance is just so that viewers understand the hotel where the dead goes to rest, still exists. And that they don't have any plans for a second season.
HOWEVER
I had the exact same thought as you. What if this becomes a whole branch of dramas, with different people being the hotel's CEO. "Hotel Blue Moon" can focus on KSH's character's story and how he became the owner. An entirely different story. IU and Yeo Jin Goo could have a cameo running into KSH as a silly couple being oblivious about the hotel because they lost memories of their previous life.
Tsering Dolkar IF they make a s2 it should be focused on Soo Hyun and just have IU and Jin-goo as cameos.

In my mind, in his original life several centuries ago, he killed his bestfriend (who was a girl) and her family thinking they were responsible for the murder of his fiancé. The first time i saw this scene, the shadow of the man who appeared i though he was Koo Chan Sung who returned to work to become a hotel owner with a different style. After the moonlight illuminated him, it turns out he is Kim Soo Hyun. OMG! Long time no see him in korean drama. Come to think of it, KSH is always synonymous with the moon, the handsome alien from outer planets =) by only saying two sentences, he left the impression of a good and deep expression as a cameo that i have seen so far.
For the writer of this script, i give two thumbs up. They made the end that i wanted, the sad ending, the touching end, but also the surprise.
