  • Using an old Baufeng UV5-R VHF UHF rechargeable battery 7.4v to use within the Sark 100 antenna analyzer allowing the Baufeng charging/dock station to charge or you can make a simple charger for this also. Saves using AAA and holders in parallel and awkward charging. Thanks for watching.

No problems. use the standard Baufeng charger or your own preference charging method of course.

Hi Kenny, I'm on the fence about getting one of these SARK100 as I see so much negative feedback on their ebay sites, did you have any problems and can you remember who you purchased from ?
    Great video by the way

Hello Alec, I have had no problems at all with this item but i cannot really give any comment on others, or sellers. I bought mine from Wish , China origin item. Like any goods and sellers there are good and bad everywhere. I did have to wait a month for delivery though. Sorry if this does not help. But it does seem that it is your choice to make.

Yes it does. What you also see on the battery is a velcro circle this is enough to hold the battery tight to the cover when replaced, this stops any battery movement and the battery to Sark wiring also has been hot glued for better strength and pole insulation. It was not a problem just makes it better.

I have a sark100 but it does not look like that. It only displays sark100 in the screen there is no label saying anything. It also does not seem to work right.

Hello Terry, I cannot tell what model you have or if it is a kit. But what i have found with my own Sark is that it worked as low as 7v dc. you may require testing with a meter and variable low voltages steadily rising once you have found the correct poles. Make sure to also not exceed specified voltages or polarity. Hope this helps :)
