I like how real the video is. Most people edit out when something goes wrong. Which sucks for those of us who are clumsy and never do it right the first time xD
Yeah sometimes I don’t cut out the clumsiness because I know it is real. And the best way to learn is sometimes either by your mistakes or someone else’s mistakes
Christmas Lights i really appreciate the realness. And despite anyone else’s view i really think this could help us with our garage light project:) Keep making videos!
I used this method on my house and it worked perfectly. This was the first time ever I put xmas lights up. My neighbors said it looks like a professional put my lights up. Thanks a million for these great how-to videos.
Good video. I use 1x2 inch pressure treated slats. Drilled a hole at top and bottom of slats and put an anchor in bricks. Just a couple of screws and ready to go. I am able to keep a lot of lights attached to the slats and bundle the slats with tie wraps for storage. Have done this for the entire front of my house. Lights are stapled to the slats.
Aaron Upton The all in one clip is what we use a lot of. This clip you can use for everything you do rather that’s the shingle clip or on top the ridge line I use it to tuck my cord in behind gutters. You can also use the tuff clip I just started using it today actually and if you have a lot of snow this is a great clips so that you don’t have to worry about losing them.
Hot glue gun.. Ive done it for a couple years myself... Just need to hold it on for a few seconds and voila. The texture of the stucco gives it something to grab onto and release from since the glue won't make a perfect seal against it. There's probably some 3M products that might be strong enough to hold as well. I like the hot glue because it's cheap, clear and oddly satisfying.
Oh maaaaan, we don’t have any vinyl siding. Been trying to figure out how we can put up Christmas lights without damaging our house and this was a great video! Wish I had siding though 😭😭
I tried it and Ive tried it again w the PVC pipes. I've tried glue, gorilla tape, adhesive mounts w gorilla glue. Everytime I come home from work they somehow come unattached from the top and the shits on the ground all smashed up.😡😡😡😡

I love that idea
This is fantastic. I don't own my home so this great for me. I can mount my lights without any permanent fixings.
I cut the pvc but it is a tad short. What can I do? Thank you for taking the time to put this helpful video up.
How do you suggest fixing the center From sagging if I don’t have siding. My house and trim of garage is painted stucco.
Staple in the middle maybe
Thanks for this video! We’re doing this TODAY! 🙌🏼
Awesome
Thanks for watching
What if you only have brick around the door? How would you support the top pipe?
Love the videos brother! One question, how tall are you, lol. You look like a giant compared to that garage door
Aaron Upton I’m 6’6
Yep Jason, you're a giant lol! On another note, you may have addressed it in a video, but what are the best all around clips for C9s?

Do you have a link for the all in 1 clips?
Aaron Upton www.christmaslightshelp.com/supplies/ it’s about half way down on page
How does that stay up on the ends? The poles are not connected to the house in any way.
So the Christmas lights don't interfere with the operation of the garage door?
I don't have vinyl, I have stucco how do you suggest I keep it from sagging?
dont know sorry i would have to see it

Gorilla tape works well also.
@@Todd_Kobell Any issues with it damaging the stucco after you take down the lights and removing the glue?
Would 3/4 work better?
I don't think so I think it would've been too big
@@ChristmasLightsCommunity thanks man appreciate the knowledge

If you have a break you can use glue
How much do you charge for garages? Minis vs C9’s
Usually we don't do garages for customers

Know anything about pressure washing? Look familiar lol
Are the lights LED?
Yes they are
What happen if you have stucco and not siding
magic glue. yeah thats tuff
Nice video. However the pvc on the sides and bottom. They’re not fastened to the house as per the video
ha ha
Are you Santa
So, 🤷🏻 a damaged house it is
That’s TACKY. Use 1x2s and hot glue them to it. Lights will be a lot straighter.
