- Mate Rimac takes us through the development process of the first production Nevera. Take a deep dive into all of the sophisticated procedures and processes that are needed when making a hypercar.
When we first embarked on the Rimac Nevera around 300 individuals were working on the project, and now as we enter full production we have grown fivefold to 1,500. With this growth comes a need for more space and so we have expanded into a brand new production facility. Fully equipped with an industry-leading assembly line allowing us to bring the Nevera to life.

What comes through, on every public appearance of ‘Rimac’ is how clever this guy is. A full command of English, full technical understanding and the clarity of thought to be able to explain his project. No wonder major car makers are backing him, getting him to produce components whilst at the same time he is driving his own project forward. A Truly astounding feat of organisation, we are looking at the work of a genius. His name will gone down in history as a ‘great’
I've been following Mate Rimac for a few years and always tell people how incredible he is. I said when he released the Concept 1 he was going to revolutionize the automotive industry and do things no other company is capable of. Bugatti & Rimac Automobili are going to be lightyears ahead of their peers in every aspect.
I just came back from a vacation in Croatia. Dubrovnik, Korchula, Hvar, Split. What an incredible place! So beautiful. So safe. So friendly and warm people. Hearing their pride in their country really showed patriotism to me in a new way. 🙌🏻

Sjecam se još onog članka u EVO časopisu, zeleni BMW je bio tema... zadnji odlomak članka (kojeg je Mrgud pisao) je išao otprilike ovako - 'kada smo poslikali sve što je bilo za poslikat i zavrsili sluzbeni razgovor sa Matom, uočio sam nešto u ćošku garaže, pokriveno plahtom. Pitao sam Matu što je ispod plahte? Ono što mi je pokazao je za jednu sasvim drugu priču...'
Nekoliko godina kasnije vidjeli smo Concept One, ostalo je povijest.
Mate, ovo što si do sad napravio je fantazija. I mislim da si prije 15 godina samo ti mislio da je ovo moguće.

Matija, znaš da je 2021 firma -Mate Rimac, službeni podaci imala oko 50 milijonov € izgube. Sad treba u čim kračom rokom početi proizvajati i PRODAVATI te avtomobile. Inače če u narednih nekoliko godina potrošiti na novi kamp 200 mio € i akumulirane gubitke 2015-2021 firma biti ogrožena ako neče stvarati ustrezan novčeni tok-denarni tok. A šta če u kampu posle raditi, možda pražiti kavu.
Rimac accomplishments is impressive. More recently a partnership with Porsche, then Bugatti and Rimac partnership not to mention all the technology they license to other manufacturers. Not bad for just 13 years in existence.

really good job Mate and all the employees that have worked on this piece of art. I, as a 16 year old Croatian boy who loves cars, am extremely proud that something this good has finally come out from a country like Croatia. My dream is to work in Rimac, to maybe own one in the future. I mean, if you ever run out of space, i will be more then honoured to take care of it for free😁🤣

Keep up on your math and science so you can get into an engineering school. Working in automotive can be very stressful, but I do get paid well, and it has been satisfying working in automotive safety for the past 20 years. I've worked at suppliers, startups, and now an established OEM (startups are good for younger people who don't have families to feed).

when talent, maxed out potential and a little bit of luck comes together ... amazing what Mate did and after Christian Koenigsegg who begann in the mid to late 90s I never thought that something like that could happen in the 2010s or now.

If I lived in Croatia, I'd be highly motivated to get a job at Rimac. So cool to see an incredibly impressive person like Mate create something so significant in a country where this sort of thing just doesn't happen. I hope Rimac becomes hugely successful and that those involved are proud and well rewarded.
You wouldn't want to live in Croatia tho, as is evident by the number of us who left the country. Rimac is pretty much the only company worth of it's good reputation. :)
Ya boy has put Croatia on the map. The jobs this has created from construction to permanent employees at Rimac and suppliers, it’s just amazing. I’m happy for Maté and all the folks over there

Very very good to see such a "human" company and the owner talking through the journey. No corporate rubbish or jargon, very knowledgeable and knows where all pre-production and test cars are in the world. Excellent work Mati and to the extraordinary team that have also gotten you this far.

@@nikolailic6821 maybe, but is it different in germany ? Mercedes pays big dividents and bonuses for their managers, and whilst the corona-crisis happend they got the first paycheck from the social-funds when their workers earn 3500€ plus and the people who really in need were left out.

There are a lot of great car companys out there, but one thing that sets rimac apart from them (in my oppinion), is that they want to see their passion on the road, not in some garage. Or as Mate said: "We cant wait to see them smile, and hopefully burn a lot of rubber with them, thats what we made them for and we want them to be used and not just being beautiful pieces in a garage". I really whish this will come true

I remember my parents watched the first video 9-10 year ago and i’ve followed you guys all along as long as i can remember. You guys must be an inspiration to many people and as-well as me. this is a crazy development of car history. And it’s crazy how your “first car” is record breaking.
