Hi Juan who didn't love Chip and Dale rescue rangers 🥰. I love the yarn bagging those 2 in a half gallon bags. I love the title of the book. That's inspiring to others to try different things. Rip A.C Moore. Juan you've not had one bad episode. I look forward to seeing a new video from you. 🙏🏽💜🫂
On an Apple device, go under settings then display and brightness then scroll down to auto lock. You can determine how long to auto lock. I have mine set to 5 minutes. This will hopefully stop your IPad from shutting off after a few seconds due to non use
Great idea to use the ziploc storage bag thanks for sharing. You can also use those bags for storing a project or WIP if you will travel with it... you can write with a marker on the bag or put a printout of the pattern with the hook in there close it up and put it in a tote bag. I also use the holiday ziploc storage bags to put my make inside of it when I am mailing it, so that the project can stay dry. I love mandala and thunderbird colorway and I just love almost all of their colorways.
Hey Juan. Love these chatty vlogs! I was knitting on the Gramps cardigan from TinCanKnits while watching you before heading to work. Will watch the rest later after work. Thanks for these types of videos!
Ok. I knew you would call your second squirrel Dale even though the original Chip and Dale are chipmunks!🙂. And please please please continue the wips. I love working on my projects along with a fellow yarny😁
Yes Juan, the light was flickering, lol😂😅😂. The Thunderbird is my favorite 💖💖💖! I haven't had the pleasure of working with it yet so please show it off for us if You can 🌞💖. In the early 80's I had a yellow Pontiac Firebird with the red & orange flames & I absolutely loved it 💛❤🧡.
As for the cotton makes, I use steam blocking. I have that vertical steam iron thingy and it works wonders when I need to block something. Acrylic takes at least two times of steam block to keep the shape and softness. Steam blocking doesn't require wetting the project. I hope this helps a little.
Hi Juan- in order to keep you from repeatedly logging in to your iPad- go to settings- display and brightness- scroll down to auto lock and you can set to never lock.
Hi Juan👋 Love this format of video and the neatness of your cubbies brings me peace 😂. The mandala mountain made me laugh.Working on a scarf with James C Brett Marble chunky (with purple )in a gorgeous hdc herringbone stitch . 💜💜🇬🇧✌️
I love Susan Kennedy’s Crochet Southwest Spirit! I am starting with the towels and working my way through it. Her tutorials are great too. I put Siren’s Atlas in my wish list. So many things to make!!!
I use slider bags also. You can buy bigger ones online for finished blankets. I love that they are reusable. I have never had to toss any. Have had some for several years.
Good morning Juan. You probably already know this but the $1.25 tree has a one pack xl and a 2 pk lg bags. I use them for finished projects. They are in a box I believe near the trash bags and stuff. They zip also. Have a blessed day😊
It's been fun! What a great idea with zip lock bags!! I wish I knew before. With the cellophane bags, I was so careful with the strips but my cat found one that I missed and swallowed it yesterday. Now I have to sift thru 💩Praying he passes it! Anyone with pets, please be careful with those bags. Have a wonderful week! ❤😘🧶😊☕
I had them in organza bags and they didn't store well, some slipped off of the cubbies so I went to the resealable bags a couple of years ago. They seemed to stack better but now I will try the zip lock bags. 😊@DeannaRose_
You can change the time it stays on before it goes to sleep, closes and locks. It’s on the settings under display and brightness and then auto lock and then pick the time you want it to stay on before it locks on ya.
I love watching you as I crochet -I’m making a hooked on sunshine blanket . I love all that mandala yarn ❤❤❤wished we have more of those available in Canada 😢
I just love that philosophy Juan. I had a teacher who would say jack of all trades, master of none but frankly how can we know what we'll actually enjoy and what we might actually be really good at unless we try different things. Enjoying the different formats of your videos. ❤
Hey Juan! I have to start and end my day with crocheting or knitting. In the evenings it definitely helps me wind down from a long and busy day at work. That’s so funny- my Mom’s favorite perfume is also Elizabeth Arden Red Door. I don’t care for it but it always reminds me of her. Her birthday is tomorrow 🎉 Take care and have a great rest of your week! 😊💜
This was such a great evening to work on my bunnies and listen to your Q and A! I love how much yarn you got in those 2.5 gallon bags! As a teacher, I use those all the time for my books. Now I can use them for yarn! Your Purple Lovey friend could be Happy, because you are Happy for you and us. 💗
I bought some sweater bags off amazon I’m anxious to use but I love seeing the 2 gallon bags with zippers used to see how well they work. Thank you so much.
Hello. Love your wippin with Juan and the bagging videos. I use the 2.5 gallon zip bags also. They work great on the shelves also. Also if you go into your settings on your tablet you can change the display time to 30 minutes and then it won't turn off as fast.
If you're not devoted to the brand name, Dollar Tree has off brand 2.5 gallon zipper bags which I think are 6 for $1.25. I'm pretty sure that was the deal last time picked up a few boxes.🐞
I was heading to bed when the notification came across that you posted a video so the WIP came back out while watching you bag and talk yarn. Working on my rectangle CAL 😄 when you were talking about the colors in the mandala yarn I found myself thinking about how to sign those colors - remembered most. Thanks as always for a fun watch.
Put some yarn scraps outside for the birds to put into their nests. I used to buy my mom Chantilly too! I agree that your bear should be Prince and crochet him a golden crown and cape!
Juan. Did you know that there are Jumbo Hefty Bags? My daughter gave me a bunch and I store yarn and projects! I believe she purchased them at Meijer. Also, I store yarn in pillow savers. They zip up and nothing can get to my precious belongings!
Love catching up with you. I too, am in process of properly storing my yarny collection. Ziplocks are my thing too, then into a plastic bin, with a handful of cedar balls, which have to be sanded a bit each year to release new cedar scent. I'm especially attentive to my wools (non acrylics). Moths etc love to indulge in the proteins found in real wool, silks, etc ... there are also sticky type traps on the market ...
"Speckles or Spreckles, The Bear! Say, I've been using those large Hefty bags for my yarn(s), too!!! Years ago I started out using those brown grocery bags, I would fold down the tops for added strength, & pop my skein with the WIP, till I just *had* to find something see-through. Glad *great minds like ours😆* think alike😁😁😁
FYI, Chip and Dale was a cartoon back in my day (I ‘m 71) watched them every Saturday morning. They were chipmunks!
I remember! Alvin, Simon, and Theodore l😊 I watched them Saturday mornings as well :)

Zipper bags are the best for storing yarn. Like you said, Juan, they’re reusable! (they’re also strong.) Love watching you (and Mama). 😊❤️

Those bags are actually sturdier than the cellophane ones anyway. I've had the cellophane bags pop on the sides. Good idea!
