  • This short film is a documentary about the infamous Saint Joseph's University Hawk Mascot. This piece takes an inside look at man behind the mask. The life of a mascot is actually a very lonely life. Once the costume goes on, they can no longer talk or express any human emotion. The job is hard and grueling but year after year students step up for the task in order to maintain the tradition of "The Hawk Will Never Die"
Special Thanks to Bobby Lattanzi and the Athletic Department of Saint Joseph's University for making this short documentary possible.

I think it's fair anyone who is a mascot, should have on some special cold suit underneath, when it's really hot. it's 40 degrees hotter than temperature outside. Gotta be some help for them.

Most do have an ice pack under on their chest. And a few even have fans inside the head
