Wow... What a turn of events, huh?
I remember when I composed for Vista (v2 and v3), I had some form of feeling of wanting to try harder and solo compose a song for Chaotix. I think with this track when Riley gave me the oppertunity to make a song, I took it with flying colors, and made something special ever since I gave up ownership of him.
I'm proud of this track, I think I did well on it too considering how much history the character has now over the past year or two. Hopefully people enjoy what I made for Chaotix, and enjoy his evolution over the past year.

Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?

I'll never get how Chaotix went from an actual horror attempt to a *very* furry werewolf. And all the more so straying away from his glitch origin.
I think this song sells this completely different Chaotix well, mostly because of the dialogue and chromatics.
AND he got banned from FNF [Not only the current one/Sunset and Midnight, it also applies to other official variants]

I like to think that Midnight is the original Chaotix after 3 resets of the game due to him achieving his X-32 form hence his past 3 designs and since there’s no X-32 form he’s stuck like this and for Sunset he’s a fill in for the base form from the past 3 designs
In the current Chaotix, Sunset is the side with Tails's personalities while Midnight is the half that remembers his past life.
@@AwesomeGamer-om4hmI know that but for Midnight remembering his past life I like taking that concept further than him just remembering his time as Tails but his being his past three designs.
@@EmmanuelTheInternetFan Imagine if the old designs were actually canon, in the sense that Sunset remains the same while Midnight's appearance goes from a lanky echidna creature to being more foxlike as his memories of being Tails returns to him.
This song is an absolute step up from the previous Chaotix songs, AND the visualizer is so fucking cool too? Props to you!
hey! owner of chaotix here, I actually did a lot of the concepts for the visualizer work, I had a very specific idea about how it'd look, big big big props to niall though for actually realizing it like how I had it in my head

not necessarily, but they do split from the same pool of code (aka tails) and even though they dont really know eachother if they did they'd have a brotherly relationship

because he sees midnight as dangerous (midnight isn't inherently dangerous and dosen't really have any beef with bf, hence why he dosent just kill him outright) because sunset gets knocked off the stage and sees him as animalistic (which to be fair he IS)

no, sunset mostly resembles tails in personality where as midnight resembles tails more in appearance (hence the personality difference), it inherets tails' animalistic and visual qualities.

This feels like an full re-take of Vista but like calming and aggresive at the same time, and i lover how Chaotix (Sunset form) is worried and saying BF to run away (Probably because midnight come, and like his decription sayed, Midnight! Chaotix appeared when Night came, like if an Werewolf was)
Also, not to be a party pooper but...didn't Pumkinjackman sayed not wanting his take (And all the official versions in general) to be in FNF mods or fan projects? (Well, it won't surprise me since he also did an official remake of D-Chaotix, ironic?)

It feels a little bit too generic for my taste and the uncanny elements alongside his horror apeal are completely lost to me
If I could, I would redesign him to fix my grips with him
I think your gripes are just because you misunderstand the intention of chaotix, chaotix aka sunset and midnight are no longer supposed to resemble uncanny valley or horror in much of any way, their lore has horror elements but chaotix as you knew it is no longer a horror story, so I ask you to judge it on it's own merits.
Even if I liked the lanky version of Chaotix, I have to admit they look like a better blend of Knuckles and Tails with the new redesign. Which is great since it's based off of a glitch, not a creepypasta.
