Hi, I'm from Cape Town, South Africa and came across this video today. Your explanations are a breadth of fresh air as you connected, on the assumption that your viewers are "dummies", of which I'm one. What an awesome video - the graphics were spot on. SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE - I hope you have many more content for the construction environment. Thank you for all the effort. 👌👌
Presumably if this format makes it faster for you to post videos, then it’s totally the way to move forward. There was still sufficient visuals in there to get your point across. Great job !!
Your videos were great man, WHY the hell did you stop making new ones?!!!!!!!! I'm studying for my ARCH license now and I'm using them and hope you keep making more.!!
Being able to see who's behind the animation and info, gives the video the human touch that I was needing to make a better connection with the content. 3D graphs helped a lot! Great job!
I really appreciate your videos and content. I'm a commercial Property Manager and I watch your videos to help me explain code and building construction to tenants and other stakeholders. Please keep it up.
Yes I love new video format. If you can keep on uploading more videos in less time would be awesome. We do appreciate the animation where it's needed on the drawing board when you are detailing more information. Keep up the amazing work!
Great video. I found it to be easy to follow and broken down into the most simplistic manner that along with the graphics cleared everything up. Textbooks and instructors tend to just "assume" everyone will "see" it and understand.
I love this video format. It feels more personal like I’m receiving classes from a profesor. So much easier for me..thanks for doing these videos. Keep it up... I'm watching. 🙌🏼
the fact that you animated the most important conceptual teaching part is really helpful! this format is great. if this is faster for you to produce, then go for it!
The visuals help sooo much. Especially for those with ADD or those who have difficulty reading (for example me). Also seeing the man behind the voice makes this video much more interesting. The visuals are a must for me but also talking in between without a visual is totally ok too, It actually adds a break so It's not staring at graphics the whole clip.
Great job as always! It was a good balance. The visual aids accompanying your explanations are very helpful, so they are always appreciated. If this method is quicker and less work for you, that's great. Thank you for taking time to put these together in the first place and share your knowledge and expertise!
I just told my Gf I found the perfect vids to help me study for the class A GC License and how they are short and on a white board she said that is what i need because i have attention deficit disorder. Great vids ty
I am glad you find these helpful. I work with various general contractors and they help me understand construction better. I have drawn better details thanks to their help and suggestions. We each have valuable knowledge. The key lies in being helpful to one another and understanding each other. Once mutual respect is achieved, nothing is imposible.
Your video was great. As a Home Inspector student, it helped me better understand the difference quickly. Looking forward to more ot your videos. Thanks 😊
This was a great video man. I'm studying for my residential General Contractor's exam and this was very helpful. It's been a lot of years since I've built houses and this was great review.
Good job brother I just my construction supervisor license In Massachussetts. I did watch some of your videos. Believe it or not. It did help me. Thank you so much
That's awesome, I am so glad this helped!!! Best of wishes in your career as an supervisor. Share your knowledge with others, I am sure you will have much to share as well. Keep on tuggin'!
Thank you! Your narrative was simple and easily understood. I really liked how you addressed the common issue and then provided a solution. It's great to see your face, connecting with your viewers in a more personal way. As for the lighting, I can tell you have both natural and artifical lightings, which are reflected on your face, creating uneven color. Next time, I would turn off the artificial light, and have only the natual light. If that causes a split lighting on your face, then I would advise you get an artifical light that would supplement the shaded side. Thanks for your dedication!
Thank you for all these videos, they are extremely helpful! I am an interior designer working to pass the license exam and I shared your videos with my study group. If this format is the one that produces videos faster, then this is the way to go. I liked the 3D modeling the most ! And if I wish for a new topic, that would be an explanation of incidental and accessory use. Thank you again!!!
Thanks for the time you’ve invested in making these helpful videos. I thought this was a great balance of how you presented. Very clear in explaining, would rather see more videos than all animation. As long as it’s still easily understood! These are so helpful for interior designers studying for the NCDIQ.
So this video was also great ! Thank you for putting it up . But yes I did miss the animation. But on the plus side I could see you :) Ultimately, what's important to me is the knowledge shared. So its absolutely fine !!
Great video, loved it! Please continue. I will be sending these to others in building and fire code, as there is so little training for folks entering this field!
Awesome video, as always! Thank you for producing such great content. I like that you showed the beam and girder 3D view separated and with a different graphic than joist section, for visual learners like myself, if makes it easier to visualize and remember.
I'm taking my ARE today, your videos were a great help, never saw anyone explain blurry concepts as clear as you do! Wish me luck! + the animations were obviously tremendous visual help, but I wouldn't mind looking at hand sketches either, if it saves time.
I'm new to your corner. Excellent job. I love the graphics to help understand what I am looking at as a building inspector and doing code review. Peace ✌️
Love the animation and 3D. But also had small short of yourself but keep the animation and 3D as a main focus to the videos. Love the channel. Keep up the hard wait and can’t wait for more
Please make more videos. They are very educational. I hope you would do a video explaining what the differences between fire partitions, fire barriers, fire walls, etc. are.
I like the video. And it sends the same message with less graphical efforts. (To me the importance of the video met). As one of your followers. I am always looking for more videos covering more topics and if such a video less time consuming. Go ahead. (The quality is already here) I am always looking for more 💯👍
Thank you for sharing this information. I think the video provides enough visuals to understand the concepts. If utilizing photos, drawings, models or any other visual aids helps you in creating content more quickly I think it's successful. I appreciate that your explanations are simple and concise!
Loved it.. this was informative and loved the way it was presented and you can make more videos that could be very helpful in shorter time.. the 3d also explained more.. awsomeee
I don't mind this format but the reductive character of your other videos is really exceptional. I think this video could have been two or three minutes shorter. If you can post more often with a tad more concision, I support the change. Thanks for your hard work!
One of the ideas on the list of "to do" list would be to show how to design a small residential project from start to finish using prescriptive approach using the IBC. This would fit well with that.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Will keep on trying!! THANK YOU!!!
This may be the most helpful video ever made on this topic! Your leg-arm analogy was brilliant!
Thank you man! it was four years of university that no one explained this simple thing to any of us... appreciated
You're very welcome! Glad you liked it.
Your videos were great man, WHY the hell did you stop making new ones?!!!!!!!! I'm studying for my ARCH license now and I'm using them and hope you keep making more.!!

Glad I could help! Thanks for your input.
Best description of beam vs girder I've heard in 20 years
Sweeeet! That was the goal 😊.
I really appreciate your videos and content. I'm a commercial Property Manager and I watch your videos to help me explain code and building construction to tenants and other stakeholders. Please keep it up.

Great explanation Josue! You made it very simple and easy to understand.
Glad you think so!
Yes I love new video format. If you can keep on uploading more videos in less time would be awesome. We do appreciate the animation where it's needed on the drawing board when you are detailing more information. Keep up the amazing work!
You got it!
Absolutely great! Have a better clearer understanding. Thank you!
Great video. I found it to be easy to follow and broken down into the most simplistic manner that along with the graphics cleared everything up. Textbooks and instructors tend to just "assume" everyone will "see" it and understand.
Glad you liked it!
This video is great as it is! No need for full animation. By all means… do what you can with the time you have. Video was very useful!
I love this video format. It feels more personal like I’m receiving classes from a profesor. So much easier for me..thanks for doing these videos. Keep it up... I'm watching. 🙌🏼

Awesome! Thank you!
Its awesome. very clearly explained the difference, and the example of hands and limbs really worked as nail to fix them in mind quickly.
Great to hear!

Will keep trying!
Very good video. I would love to see you do more videos on explaining the International building code.
More to come! The next video will be for IBC. If not tomorrow, the next day (Monday hopefully - 5/23/21)! Hope you like it.
Awesome 👌everything is fine
Thanks a lot 😊. Much appreciate your kind comment.
Great job! your approach to the concept was great. Using the different medium did not affect the quality and understanding. Thank you!
Awesome, thank you!
Hi can you also explain slip joints and relief joints that help in building movement. Thank you
You rock, thank you so much!
You're welcome!
Visuals are good to go with your lecture.
Thank you for the positive input!
Great video! Animation helps a bunch. Can you do one on sprinkler systems?
Great suggestion! I will keep it in mind.
Thanks
Can you do a video simplifying braced wall lines and when you need to angle brace interior walls? Thank you.
One of the ideas on the list of "to do" list would be to show how to design a small residential project from start to finish using prescriptive approach using the IBC. This would fit well with that.
Can you expand on the tie-in for types?
Love it
Thank you!
