On my way home the day Elvis Presley passed away August 16th 1977 I was asked to run an errand and go to the store for my mom the radio station that I was listening to literally went silent and then the announcer came on and his voice you could tell something was wrong he kind of murmured and said Elvis Presley at passed away there were no reports about how he passed but it was bad enough I still had a couple of miles to get to the house I started to cry not knowing what the world was going to be like without the one and only Elvis Presley I had all of his records to-date at that time. Elvis rest in peace knowing that there will never be anyone that will ever be able to copy you. Thank you so much for making a seventeen-year-old boy happy and thank you for making a 61 year old man even happier knowing that I can get on RUclips to listen just like I did back then
