- He was a former Governor of North Bar-El-Gazal State in South Sudan before he was made the Chief of General Staff of the South Sudan Army. But in early 2017, he was dismissed by President Salva Kiir and even termed a Rebel.....This after dedicating more than Two-Decades of his life to the SPLA, the Sudan People’s Liberation Army. He was later forced to flee Juba and ended up in Nairobi where he's been for nearly Two Years.....And a few days ago, a Documentary was aired depicting him as one of South Sudan's richest people with Millions allegedly stashed in foreign banks....he's also been accused of atrocities ranging from killings and rapes of local villagers during his time as Army Chief of Staff.......So just who is General Paul Malong? We sought to find out and found him in his home in one of Nairobi's leafy suburbs and he agreed to sit down with us in an EXCLUSIVE interview.

Most people here are mad at Jeff for doing this interview. Doing this interview was a good thing as the people in the documentary have the right to respond to the allegations made. However his interviewing is weak as he puts words in the general's mouth and does not push the tough questions. Also captions of the unfamiliar foreign names would have helped the viewers.
