It’s not a surgery. Although no one should alter themselves for any other person … Botox does help a lot with the pain. It’s just a injection of a neurotoxin that temporary freezes the muscle. It wears off. I also have TMJD and I got Botox in my jaw and temples and it helped quite a bit. It just freezes the muscle so you can’t overuse it and it can relax bc I’m constantly clenching my jaw without realizing it, especially in my sleep and sometimes I can’t eat or my jaw pops. It sucks so I’m glad it ended in her learning of a way to help her pain (even if it started through hate comments).

Actually, she needed it. Not for the beauty aspect, but because of her health. Her muscles hardened and grew, probably due to grinding teeth at night, which caused jaw pain that easily spreads to shoulders, neck and head.

I’m not saying let’s ask her doctor and see but in this context without any other evidence that’s what it looks like. Some people are just born with wider jaws, not all of it is pain related or a type of disorder

As someone who deals with chronic pain on and off, I’m so glad you were able to get pain relief. It sucks that people pushed you into altering your beautiful face; however, it’s your face and if you want to alter it you can. You look gorgeous.

Plastic surgery (and this isn't even surgery) is not necessary, but for some it can make huge for some. But since she didnt like her own looks she should've chosen the gym route which has more healthy than unhealthy sides at (being super shredded is never healthy but the gym can bring you balance and her face wouldve fixed itself). Also there are many other valuable traits that actively going to the gym give you, so many that indont feel like listing them 😂 Edit: she in not in perfect shape btw she can do a lot of recomp

As someone who deals with chronic pain on and off, I’m so glad you were able to get pain relief. It sucks that people pushed you into altering your beautiful face; however, it’s your face and if you want to alter it you can. You look gorgeous.

It’s not just to change her face shape, it’s to relieve the pain in her jaw.
It made her feel more confident and happy about herself, AND it relieved pain. That's all that matters. Plastic surgery (and this isn't even surgery) is not necessary, but for some it can make huge for some. Keep that in mind before you go all "but you were beautiful before", because it's not helping anyone.

The squareness of your face shape gives you character and goes with your features. I’m not even trying to pull the “your flaws make you unique!!” card but the wide jaw literally harmonizes with your other features and makes you look more modelesque. These people just see some k pop stars and think that’s how everyone should look, in real life they wouldn’t be judging so hard

But since she didnt like her own looks she should've chosen the gym route which has more healthy than unhealthy sides at (being super shredded is never healthy but the gym can bring you balance and her face wouldve fixed itself). Also there are many other valuable traits that actively going to the gym give you, so many that indont feel like listing them 😂 Edit: she in not in perfect shape btw she can do a lot of recomp

There are a load of other ways to relief jaw pain that don't involve cosmetic surgery and the only reason she went down a Google rabbit hole is because random fuckheads decided her face wasn't right.
