I’ve converted several small suvs for part time car camping. There is a trick to the window socks. Been using those for years. Also, with CRvs, you do kind of have to commit to removing a rear seat, and building a level bed platform. Your hight vs the type of vehicle will decide how you go about this. But I am 6’3” and have racked up well over 150 nights in a SUV comfortably.
Hi, we have a CR-V also. To make it long enough to lay down you can unbolt the seat from the floor and remove it from the car. There's a youtube video on that. Good luck!
I thought about that, too, but I'm debating if it's simpler to just build a foldable plank. The plank would also give me more storage space, though it would be tight for sleeping... More indecision! LOL.

A magnet might hold that fly screen in place where it is riding up. Goodluck with your car camping.
