For me she qualifies as a ''Standard'' bearer. Mesmerizing and no moving video...just put on some headphones and its like meditation!
My favorite rendition of this song. Linda's voice with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra is just splendid and beautifully sung.:-)
Linda and Riddle brought the standards back to the public's attention. This album has sold almost 4 million copies. And a Grammy nom for Linda.
This is simply one of the most magnificent songs written and Nelson Riddle is a genius! He did three separate arrangements of this Song, One for Sinatra, this One for Linda and the lesser known bill aferton on a tribute album for the 74' Gatsby Film! Linda sings on the Same level as Ella or Sarah or Peggy Lee! SUPERB!!!!!!!
I always felt "What'll I Do" was a throw away song... until I heard Linda send it over the moon. Simply a breathtaking rendition that is second to none. I will always love you too Ella.
I sing this for my 9 month old niece and she just loves it
When my heart dog, HarryBoy, died this song would just break me down so badly.
This is the same girl that sang tumblin' dice 😊 she is terrific.
I love this girls voice and in particular this song
One of my all-time favourite albums. ❤️🇨🇦
The most beautiful recording she has done.
Such a beautiful rendition by Linda & NRO. Irving Berlin is Smiling Down upon us. Amazing song that has been beloved for 100 years. 💕✅
The best singer EVER
The touch, that thing, known here. There are no objections: the poet says so.
Timeless beautiful voice beautiful song 💜
I wish she would get well. Such a voice, to be silenced.
SOOOO BEAUTIFUL ❤
Gershwin tunes are immortal….❤️🔥
"What'll I do when you are far away. "
