I became aware of Richard Smith, Jim and Morning Nichols and Martin Taylor at an All Star Guitar Night you hosted in Los Angeles. Let's see I brought my then 15 year old son to the event and he is now 36 I think. So it was quite a while back.
Richard, Jim & Morning, and Muriel are almost always at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society in Nashville every year.....alot of fun if you can afford the tariff. 😊
Fantastic!!!…I knew Richard’s music before. Today I had a great pleasure to know Muriel…also a great artist! I appreciated your skills and simpathy. Congratulations. Gabriel, from Brazil
I met Muriel in Mellerud, Sweden some years ago. Great guitarist. I went to see my friend, Claes Neeb, we lost him back in 2013, still miss him. Hope I get to see Richard live some day. He's in a league of his own.
Watched every minute of that program with Richard and yourself both lovely guitarists. I know how versatile he is and would love to hear his interpretation of the Spanish piece "Remarques del Alhambra' I think that is the spelling.
Is she really a prepared guitar player? His guitar is out of tune, she has no feeling and her technique is very limited. Richard, in his turn, is one of the best in the planet. But that lady, well, get out of here!
Yeah she shouldn't be playing on the same platform with him... he's in a different league. Maybe if he solos and she watches like the last bit is best.

Damn! Richard has set that damn guitar and strings on fire from the friction! What a master player.
Thanks!
It's a great experience to see two of my favorite guitarists play together.

RICHARD SMITH IS JUST FABULOUS THERE ARE A FEW GREAT GUITARISTS AROUND RICHARD IS ONE OF THEM
He is good enough for a CGP status.
@@terryparenteau1200 Yes he is. Those are quite hard to come by these days, though.😇
Absolutely stunning !
Beautiful ❤️
Richard Smith needs to play Navy Blues, this IMHO is the most under rated Reed song.
Merci Muriel, merci Richard.
😘 to you both from France.
Thanks for blowing my mind this morning!
Awesome show. Thank you.
Seeing you two sitting there leads me to think of, Si Bheag, Si Mhor! 😉🎶
I'll have to do that for you on one of the upcoming Mondays.
Loved Doc's version of Memphis Blues at the end...I call it back porch pickin'....my favorite kind.
Thoroughly enjoyable, Murial and Richard.

Nice to see classically trained guitarists to expand to this genre of music.

Please you two, give me some of that genius!
Should use a cutaway for that top of the fretboard work Muriel..save a bit of struggling
I emailed friends to tune in ... I was caught up in work... 😞
👍😁😂🍀Thank you!
That was Stars and stripes. And now Richard gonna play something difficult
is there a narrow neck nylon string guitar ? Suggestion on a classical acoustic electric ?
Yes, but most I've heard don't sound as good as the ones with wide neck. Any suggestions?
@@MurielAnderson thankk you. I was looking at a Cort and and Ibanez Ga-35
Steve.. Check out Cervantes cross over guitars.
Ellen Britton lives in Nashville and has been playing that since she was 14. She refused to try to teach it to me.
I would like to see him play duet with Phil Keaggy too
🙂🙂🙂
👏👏👏👍🍺🌹🍷🇬🇧
No rehearsal and it shows!
Now now .... 2 of the greatest players of all time right there.

Muriel is a good classical player but like most classical players she has no swing.
bUT SHE IS JUST SO SWEET....
I love the song Nola Muriel!
