My first reflex would be to try and stick different styles of beats and under those to see what kind of energy you need in a tune to place them appropriately (that's situation where you're alone with a drummer) Then with the beats which fit, you stick different styles of bass lines (a trio situation, with the assumption that the licks as presented are not modified, that the bass places itself around the piano) It sounds like a lot, so i would advise to experiment with this approach over a comfortable period of time, so you can have fun with what you find :) Hope this helps ^^
