I thought that as well! It would have been nice if it was actually apple flavored. They could have mixed apple purée into the cake or added a caramel apple layer for a different texture. Although I’m sure it’s good, it’s also very plain and bland inside.
With this entire process it makes me wonder how often they bake these. Is this a once a day thing until it sells out? Or is it a seasonal thing? Or they keep baking to replenish the stock?

And they're really delicious, too! I always make it a point to go to boulangeries and café in Korea as their cakes and pastries are good.
N this is just a street food...in my country this is consider a five star dessert that only exist in big restaurants or hotels
