Marillion have many brilliant songs, but I've always thought Neverland is something very special. It touches my heart and gives me chills...
It is the pinnacle of their collective writing/preforming. Always a chill when seen live. Nothing else tops this......nothing.
People invariably comment on Steve's guitar playing, and rightly so - But I would like to say that Pete is one amazing bassist. Over the course of his career he has laid down some of the tastiest lines you will ever hear. He truly deserves to be mentioned in the same class as Chris Squire, John Entwistle, and Geddy Lee.

I rediscovered Marillion about 3 yrs ago. Absolutely fantastic. Better then the Fish era
I'm 63 years old I have seen every band there is to see with a few exceptions. This band is one of the exceptions. I started listening to them in 86 and 87 and then quit. I thought fish and that band was great. Then they went away for a little bit and I quit following them. The addition Of Hogarth is just a transition for the band which a lot of bands do. The Hogarth era is just as good as the fish era and I'm glad I get to listen to both.
I completely agree and I'm 65 years old. Hogarth has it down pat.Damn I never knew this song had such a meaning to me.Yet it does. My total respect to all band members. Hogarth you are a magnificent singer who has a passion to project your soul with this band. Greg is all I can say..Thank you sir.
I have been utterly consumed by this band, not a day goes by that I do not listen to them. Completely swallowed up into their universe, never to return from whence I came and never will I be the same...

Pretty much permanently at the top of their game. I’ve seen them 11 times in the last 12 months (all of last November’s tour except Edinburgh and 3 nights in Leicester, not one dud show, awesome band!

Just bought DVD All one tonight live at Albert Hall. Totally mind blowing and probably the best stuff I've seen and heard in over 60 years. If you're unsure ( as I was ) just buy it. It's SO amazing. My thanks to Lee Robson and Lisbeth for getting me into this wonderful band.

i have seen alot of guitarists in my 50 yrs... this guy ranks among my all time top 5... and that list includes: david gilmour.. john petrucci.. george harrison.. brian may.. and this guy steve rothery... these are my pics... and these guys are in no order as all are equally good in my view..

@chihawks2010 I'm coming up to 60...was never into the Fish era Marillion but 7 years ago went to see them for the first time...didn't know anything by H era Marillion either... by the time I went home I wanted to know/hear everything 😀
Since then seen them 7 times and a weekend...I met them recently after the Edinburgh gig and told Steve Rothery what a great guitarist he is...I got his autobiograph too 😀...chatted to H as well ...what a nice guy...just ordinary people.
My 24 year old daughter loves them too...the Manchester gig last week was a Birthday treat for her, she's never seen them live...she loved it she loves Neverland and was made up when they played it...Amazing song/music/people/band Love them💕

a mi me parece que neverland es uno de los grandes temas de marillion , con fish o con hogarht marillion sera siempre la mejor banda del rock progresivo o neoprogresivo , ambas epocas me gustan , porque son grandes musicos , y steve rothery es un maestro de la guitarra un ejemplo para las nuevas generaciones de guitarristas mediocres , escuchar a rothery en como estar en el paraiso , es conmovedor y emocionante , no escuchado un guitarrista que esxprese tanto con la guitarra gracias marillion

I was fortunate to see Marillion live on the "Marbles" tour and WOW that was great and this was one of the best songs they played,every single one being brilliant!!!!! I've seen them 3 times since and each time,have found their performances staggeringly amazing. I know I need to see them again,hopefully soon.

Fish his period was great and unique for that time. After he left came Steve Hogarth. He is different, but he is also unique and a very good singer! I like both periods! I am a great fan from the beginning and curious where it will end! Applause for both singers and for the rest of the band!
I keep coming back to watch this. Amazing song, amazing performance, and above all amazing band! I'm a huge Porcupine Tree fan and kept getting recommendations for Marillion as a result. I'm grateful to have found both remarkable bands that sadly aren't so popular here in the US.
