Imo: Eclipses trauma is valid and should find somebody to peacefully open up to. However I disagree with how he brought it up to Sunshine. Sunshine doesn't understand much and isn't the brightest so why would he understand anything? And I feel like Eclipse should've realized that Sunshine is going through the same but just add the hell like pain. The only thing they can do in this situation is just serperate Sun and Moon. (Also I dug deeper into the rabbit hole for this one and watched a lot of the older episodes of sams THANKFULLY it was heavily hinted that Sun did everything in his power to share control time with Moon however when Eclipse became a thing Sun was rightfully tired of people controlling HIS body and did everything he could to keep eclipse from taking control. ) I see a huge difference between Sunshine and our Sun. Sunshine is taking a bit more of Dark Suns route where Dark Sun kept Moon under control. Thats what sunshine is doing, he is openly saying he doesn't like Moon and is not letting Moon come out. I can kinda see it from Sunshines perspective where he doesn't wan't to feel pain even if that means that Moon doesn't get control time. I guess sunshine has some defense here since Moon (Nor eclipse for Sun) felt pain while being shut away and for some unknown reason Sun was the only one who felt that gosh awful pain. Sun on the other hand always let things happen to him didn't openly say he doesn't like Moon and it was stated the only time Sun didn't wan't Moon out was when Moon started killing kids. Even after they seperated Sun just didn't stand up for himself like Sunshine does. I feel like Sunshine struggles with selfishness while that isn't something Sun struggles with while Sun struggles with standing up for himself which is something Sunshine is very good at. (Please someone read thing rant I worked so hard on this)
