well, they didn't... because they didn't have time to remake that scene, plus, the Supra that Darius gave to us was supposed to be Totalled its better that the M3 was totalled, because it couldn't be a sequel (plus, im glad the M3 is GONE)

I believe that the GTR was added later in development as a way to pair MW and Carbon together in the same storyline. Initially, the character was meant to use the supra because that was the car he "got" from Darius.

The 2015 Need for Speed is total trash compared to this. The acting here is ridiculously over the top, but it worked. All characters were interesting, but the 2015 is total cringe, I was getting goosebumps watching them. The car physics here rocked, but the car physics in 2015 was so anger-inducing, I uninstalled it quickly. Carbon is the best NFS game. I dunno with all the releases that came after.
Really? I thought 2015 was the closest we’ve got to a classic NFS game. I was very happy that they used live action cutscenes. Sure the customization and handling was lacking in that game, but it’s the closest modern nfs game we’ve got to the MW-Carbon era

Underground has nothing to do with Carbon and MW. That theory has been debunked by EA, the NFS community and Dean McKenzie/Simone Bailey.
