Damn! Issue #3 is an absolute bonkers. The sacrifice Diana made was insane, but in the name of doing something great. The story is amazing, paired with Hayden's unique panelling layout.
and Diana briefly runs into Barbara Ann Minerva (who would have turned into Cheetah in another life) and it is Barbara who first calls Diana "Wonder Woman" in order to save a city from a sound that will compel the citizens to sacrifice themselves to a monster, Diana takes a logical and direct route and uses magic to make everyone in the city deaf (let's hope that it's enough) Diana also gives an inspiring message, showing that even though this version of her grew up in hell and was raised without a sisterhood of Amazons to support her, she can still serve as a symbol of inspiration
This story is very good. It just makes us ask... Why does Darkseid like Wonder Woman so much? She's basically an Apokolips New God, especially given how her powers are based on sacrifice. Sure, she has one arm, but Diana is almost *stronger* morally and power-wise because of those sacrifices.
wow, I guess that explains why only her left arm is armored, I was wondering if it was because she used that hand to cast magic, but I never thought she literally used her right arm as fuel for witchcraft
She has one arm like guts! She is so get a better and more powerful prosthetic arm in the future. Probably by Hephaestus and now I believe she will definitely get her own equivalent of the berserk armor.
I believe the book she is referring to is like a book of myths or something like how in marvel thor and loki exist and there are myths and stories about them
she sacrificed that arm for Steve Trevor, looks like no matter the version, Diana the Wonder Woman will always have a loving relationship with Steve Trevor and use it as a motivation to make sacrifices or miracles happen
in the Prime Earth universe, Diana and Steve actually lived together for a while before certain issues caused their separation, but they mended their relationship during the time all Amazons were declared outlaws in America and Steve stood up for Diana more than once, which eventually caused him to be targeted by the Sovereign of America, who shot him dead and made it look like a tragic accident, Diana was then in mourning, but she did not allow the anger and anguish to consume her completely like the Sovereign thought she would, and when she lashed out to get revenge, she did it in an indirect manner, instead of charging to attack the Sovereign guns ablazing, she had her allies bankrupt the Sovereign of his ill gotten wealth and then expose his existence to public, she also tried to move on from losing Steve by "magically creating" a daughter that she named Elizabeth Marston Prince after Steve's beloved grandmother, since little Lizzie was brought to life by Diana inserting a combination of piece of her thread of fate with a piece of Steve's thread of fate into a doll molded from clay, she can be considered the daughter of Diana and Steve meanwhile Steve was shown to have gone to Elysium, but he misses Diana everyday and would rather return to her side than enjoy his "eternal reward"

The absolute trinity has been great so far,and I've been reading DC comics since 1970 or so,and I'm excited to see where this goes
Calling it. Batman is gonna engineer her a new arm and it’s going to be crazy
Halfway through reading this I thought:
This is the future of DC and Wonder Woman
I think the absolute universe is the best "reboot" they ever did. It really needed something new and modern, really depowering the universe for once.
wow, I guess that explains why only her left arm is armored, I was wondering if it was because she used that hand to cast magic, but I never thought she literally used her right arm as fuel for witchcraft
Maybe Barbara/Cheetah in this universe becomes Diana's partner/sidekick

Love craft reference!!! Love it !
We need a Diana with a cannon arm like Guts from Berserk
This is such a beautiful reimagining of the character, damn, she really is awesome.
This is great just in time. Merry Christmas Everybody!!!
Absolute Wonder Woman is much better than Tom King's boring run and much cooler
@@JorgeLuisLogo exactly 💯
Absolute Wonder Woman is the best Wonder Woman
I believe the book she is referring to is like a book of myths or something like how in marvel thor and loki exist and there are myths and stories about them
Wonderwoman sacrifice an arm.
..wow.
I guess Absolute Diana is the DC answer to Guts from Beserk.
I love your contents!
I’m getting them enchanted vibes
OneArm woman sounds like wonder woman o.O
The story are amazing so far it like darkseid created this world buried with hope inside each and everyone it just needs to be unlocked
It said hope was harder to come by and must be fought for, not that this universe is hopeless,
WHERE'S THE SUPERMAN TRAILER BREAKDOWN
Omfg her arm😨😰😱
One arm wonder woman! I don't know how to feel about this.
Would be great if she had regeneration magic spell
she sacrificed that arm for Steve Trevor, looks like no matter the version, Diana the Wonder Woman will always have a loving relationship with Steve Trevor and use it as a motivation to make sacrifices or miracles happen
@harmoniaaeolia5260 how r they gonna conclude the story with just more 2 issue?

@@Mi-Jung_Kim-tq2bl it's just the first story arc. The book is continuing
@FortressofSolitude1138 thank god.
But when will they release second story arc? Will it take years?
