23:15 That would be Ludwig Goransson (there should be an umlaut above the 'o'). Scoring 'Tenet' got him a Golden Globe nomination, he also scored 'Black Panther' & 'Oppenheimer' (which earned him his two Oscars). He also produced a lot of Childish Gambino's music (including 'This is America')...
35:37 In order to film the reverse scenes, IMAX cameras were converted to record backwards. Additionally, in fight scenes, the actors learned reverse fight choreography. I'm glad I got to see Your reaction to Tenet. Basically my second favorite movie. I managed to watch it in IMAX during the pandemic. It was an extraordinary experience - image, sound. Additionally, the film requires watching it at least twice to understand everything and catch the details. In my experience watching this with people and reactions. Theres a specific point where 2 things happens. When the scientist early in the film says "don't try to understand it, just feel it", most people take this as a challenge and try to understand it, then while they are running in circles trying to figure it out the film is literally explaining itself to them but they arent listening. The other side is people who choose to sit back and enjoy the ride and as a result they actually pick up the little hints and hear the explanations and at the end understand the film better. TENET in my view is Nolan's best film. The filmmaking style really matured from his earlier works, and the audio and visual storytelling meshed together in a way that hasn't been topped since IMO. I also love that it simply didn't waste time in exposition, and it was basically go-go-go from frame one. I like this movie. The idea is very interesting, but Nolan apparently got confused in it himself. There are a lot of inconsistencies in the film related to inverted objects. When you try to understand what is happening, you inevitably come to the conclusion that there is no explanation for many things and there cannot be. There are many impossible situations in the film, for example, who could hypothetically build that high-rise building that was blown up at the end of the film? Both in the past and in the future, it is a ruin.

At the end it is possible to assume that Protagonist gets together with Kat. Protagonist then established Tenet and recruited Neil to send him back to past. Neil is said to be Kat's son, which Neil said he studied theoretical physics. That's why Neil knows so much about the inverted world, because Protagonist would have told him, as he is together with Kat. Names are reversed : Sator = Rotas Arepo = Opera Tenet = Tenet
The Batman. Despite my love of Nolan, proud I'm not blindly loyal, The Batman is the best Batman film. There, I said it. The thing about Nolan's that most don't understand/forget is that it was a gig. He made a deal with Warner, one for them, one for him. They got a Batman, he could do whatever he wants, and on, and on. He didn't care about Batman. Of course his half-hearted effort still exceeds most other film makers, but that wasn't his passion, and if you intimately KNOW Nolan's work, it's obvious. It was a deal with the devil, and it was paid in blood. From his Dark Knight Trilogy, the MCU abomination followed.
You need to watch MEMENTO - one of his first movies and established his tendency to tell stories in unique order. It's honestly one of his best, and not NEARLY as confusing as this one.
Who the hell says this is one of his best and Dunkirk is one of his worst? This movie is interesting. There's good stuff. But it's flawed, no doubt. If the majority of viewers find it confusing, and it's not necessarily supposed to be, just complex...you probably could have done better.
whoever told you dunkirk is one of this worst ones and this one is one of the bests ones, lied to you in your face. This is by far the most experimental and def the weakest of all, while Dunkirk is very much considerate his most personal and passionate project while also prob the best one in terms of script and direction. Cheers lady, brake a leg
Dunkirk is ok but The PG 13 rating, ruined The movie, i mean, a war movie with no blood is a big no no. Tenet maybe not his best but is definitely better than Dunkirk
Bizz i want to show my appreciation for watching this movie 'till the end. I couldn't survive it's first 50min. It was one of the most boring movies by Nolan IMO. Congrats for surviving it.

I believe the consensus is that "Neal" is... Max the woman's son. Let that marinate...
I've also wondered if Ives (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) might be a young Crosby (Michael Caine).
That was my impression from what Nolan wanted to convey, but I heard on Reddit that it couldn't be possible for him to be the son? What do you think?
@@bazimyan I think the vagueness is intentional.
Names are reversed :
Sator = Rotas
Arepo = Opera
Tenet = Tenet
Definitely react to “the Batman” would be great to see you break down the case
My Batman reactions are up, I believe only the first movie isn’t available since I saw it before the channel
@@BissFlix I meant the Robert Pattinson Batman film (: not the Nolan ones, love your reactions!
This is what happens when you give Christopher Nolan a bunch of money.
If you like puzzles, check out an independent film called Primer by Shane Carruth. It's a doozie!
Might check it out someday, thanks for watching
@@BissFlixPrimer is great indeed. Low-budget but very well written.
"You've known me for years?"
"We get up to some stuff. You're gonna love it!"
😂❤😢
Right? Thanks for watching
Soda water (club soda) is sparkling water. Just water with carbonation!
I appreciated Nolan taking a chance at an experimental film but it is a hard movie to follow. I got in the first watch but it was difficult.
Yeah understandable, can be difficult for a good number of people
"You don't have to pay taxes"
I like where your heads at 😂
Haha glad you liked that
You understood the movie insanely well for the first time watch. it flew right over my head. didn't get shit.
I love your accent! ❤
Who the hell says this is one of his best and Dunkirk is one of his worst?
This movie is interesting. There's good stuff. But it's flawed, no doubt. If the majority of viewers find it confusing, and it's not necessarily supposed to be, just complex...you probably could have done better.
yeah dunkirk is better than this by far, not even close
You always say go to sleep 😅 do you train jiujitsu?
whoever told you dunkirk is one of this worst ones and this one is one of the bests ones, lied to you in your face.
U are so smart. Love this movie it's my fav Nolan film.
Thank you
My heart works 110%
I wish there were more TENET reactions! They seems far and few between!!!!
Man of Steel is a must watch! It is sooo good. In my opinion, better than anything else he’s done.
Man of steel is directed by Zack Snyder, Nolan is just the producer.
I’ll keep that in mind thanks
Bizz i want to show my appreciation for watching this movie 'till the end. I couldn't survive it's first 50min. It was one of the most boring movies by Nolan IMO. Congrats for surviving it.

1 kilo g gold bar is worth a little over $75k
35:31 nah I heard since Nolan likes practical effects they actually caught real bullets 😩🤦♂️
Haha
honestly not sure many nolanites would rank this as one of his best ones
LOLS YUP ! EXACTLY . IT ISNT😂😄😂😂
@@rexxbailey2764 according to you. Tenet is one of my favorites.
kate's kid is neil :O
Masterpiece
Dunkirk was a masterpiece too, who the hell said it was his worst one?
😊😊❤❤
