EQ had such awesome zones and they all had a story and the landmarks in the zone reflect and tell the stories. Something future MMOs never were able to capture imo
Agreed! I think the biggest draw for me is that no event happens in a vacuum, everything event has an impact on the world around it and that makes it feel alive to me.
Unrest, though not a true dungeon, was my first real scary and totally _into the unknown_ type adventure into the wide world. I think Crushbone had been the only serious group type thing I'd done thus far, which was right after Orc Hill. The lonely, terrifying journey from Greater Faydark to Unrest alone, by myself at night, led my some kind strangers through /tells, was just the beginning; I think I may have even died the first time, but managed to find my way back, loot my corpse and found the entrance. And once I was inside, holy shit man... Unrest was so bad ass! And so scary, the noises, the freaky, high level mobs randomly flopping around the zone, it was just so spooky man. I remember how the vibe was suddenly much more mature, focused, quiet; the people in the group who knew the zone were sure to caution us as to where we could and couldn't go, you were hyper aware of everything all the time. Epic!
Thanks, I'm constantly trying to tweak the audio to make it sound better, so I'm really glad to know it's working! I'll certainly be making more videos. To the brim we go!
I’m 14 and have been playing eq for two years now but I’m on a time lock server and right now we’re on secrets of faydar and I started and the very end of pop so I’ve not really seen a lot of the lore which is why I like these videos because I never got to see them so thank you for making these
There's a surprising shortage of eq lore videos on youtube so thank you
I noticed that as well, maybe because the lore itself is a bit of a mess? Thank you for your support!
@@lorewhoregalore1393 thats one of the things that makes it so charming
I rarely ever see anyone mention Everquest these days so it makes me happy to see a recent video about it
And I'll be making even more!

Thank you for submitting! Keep producing more content!
getting awesome elvira vibes from this video at the beginning
First: I love this video.
Second, an important question: who's maintaining the hedges out front of the house?
I love it. Make more!!
More lore coming up!
That cliffhanger though...
What a great Halloween video! keep it up. I'm loving this series.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
This is so nostalgic! Great work, miss!

I look forward to more, just discovered this cool little channel today.
Welcome aboard!
These were soooo goood I miss old EQ and your videos!
The Brell Serillis animation took me the fuck ouuuuuut LMAO
been looking for some lore videos ever since reptox slowed down/stopped posting videos
great video
Thank you
Whoa... striking similarities between this place and a place called Crethly Manor in EQOA.
Why is the lore in this game so good compared to WOW.
Because EverQuest was built outta love and wow was built to take your money ..
Why was Brell mad at his creations the dwarfs I wonder?
oh nvm here it is lol
