I met June when I was 18. She was 74. I knew right away she was special. Her smile and warm voice made me want to sit and talk with her. After losing all my grandparents by early 2008, I felt sad, but there was a silver lining. I had 4 wonderful grandparents on Jonathan’s side of the family. June welcomed me officially into the family in 2011 when I walked down the aisle with Jonathan wearing her special jewelry pieces that she let me pick out. June became my Nana. I feel so special to have been family with June. I will miss her beautiful smile and her personality. She loved her family so much. She cared deeply about them. She also loved cooking and baking, her garden and music. Here are a few memories in the form of photos of our special times with Nana June.
