For those that don't know, kentaro Miura passed away the 6th of may 2021 due to health reasons. Today the 20th of may, 2021 the news of his death became public. It is a heavy day for us all fans not only because of the story but the man that created this vivid, detailed world. Remember in these times that Berserk was never about accepting defeat and allow destiny to decide our lives. But instead accepting that we struggle though traumas and losses. And that we as strugglers must fight on! Rest in peace Miura, the greatest of them all.
God, I was genuinely happy when two characters started a relationship only once in my lifetime. That relationship was the Guts and Casca's one. This video is truly amazing. Thanks.
This song would simply go great with all the important events in his life that changed his character. From getting raped by Donovan to killing Gambino, meeting the hawks, taking his first L against Griffith, to fighting Zodd alongside Griffith...finding out Griffith didn't consider someone who follows him as a friend, and you know the rest. All the good, the bad, the tragic mashed up with this one song would just be perfect. Simply perfect.
Berserk is about humanity Guts represents humanities struggle to maintain morality in a harsh world Griffith represents the greedy and power hungry who do anything for power Casca represents those who want to find love in the world Judeu represents those who just want to help out Rickert represents the children who live in childlike wonder of the world almost completely oblivious to the pure evil of some people Corkus represents those who want to look good in front of people Pippin represents those who just want to keep to themselves but don’t mind lending a hand Mozgus represents the religious leaders who bend holy books like the Bible and quaran to trick people into accepting their evil
Guts is more like the struggle for people to find their true dreams and face hardship throughout their lives. Griffith is more like those with great dreams and grand intentions but has to make sacrifices of those under them. Casca represents those who want something that is no good for them in order to be accepted of worrh towards someone they love through desires even if it hurts them, when she is obsessed with Griffith. Judeau represents those with talent and potential but have no ambition so look to be around those that find their talents useful. Rickert is the innocence and spirit of youth until they mature. Pippin is those who are secluded but protectors. Corkus represents those who gave up on their dream and goals so praise those greater than them Mozgus represents that but mainly the people that make themselves a false image from their own image of themselves in their faith
+@@c.galindo9639 I disagree with you on a couple of points, politely: -Griffith's 'grand intentions' about building his own kingdom (Falconia) affect millions of people, but ultimately are for HIMSELF, not others. Also, please don't say "... he HAS to make sacrifices..." : his betrayal of his former soldiers, his rape of Casca and feud with Guts were done WILLINGLY. So F*CK him 🖕. -Casca's obssesive worship of Griffith was BEFORE he chose to become Femto. -OK, although it's true Corkus had big self-confidence issues 😉 (big coward!), he was also mega-full of himself, especially around the ladies 😁.
@@diegocobosanchez4373 yes Griffith had to for his dream as that is what he places above all. And it wasn’t for himself as he is not grounded to the world. His ambition was greater than his entire being for him to ascend to his granted godliness. I also added “when she is obsessed with Griffith” which is her in the Golden Age. Corkus is like a bandwagon person. Someone who is like anyone else who has no strong ambitions so jumps on with others to make themselves affiliated with something greater than their individual selves. That’s also the same kind of people that act big around others to attract them even though they weren’t the reason for the success made.

1:43 sounds like Guts’s soul is crying. This music is what defines Berserk, the sheer sadness and sorrow is beautifully shown
Exactly what Susumu Hirasawa intended
@@c.galindo9639 agree 👍

...and then Griffith did the thing.

Casca and Guts relationship is so beautifully tragic
