For those coming here to figure out how to get the spool out, this reel has tool-less spool removal. The black bar above the spool is spring loaded. Slide it to the right and the reel cover plate will twist right off.
Couldn't help notice that you didn't actually oil or grease anything, unless I was missing something. WD-40 is fine to clean and free up sticking parts, but is' not a lubricant.
Your pressure washer is backwards. Should be convex side out. The way that you have it oriented puts it in direct contact with the main gear. This is also why you have a gap between your handle and drag knob. The drag should never spin freely when you turn it. Also, WD40 is an awful reel lubricant. Edited: added some explanation.

For anyone watching, use reel grease for gears and reel oil for bearings, wd40 ain’t it. Otherwise, great video and thank you.

I saw your cleaning of black max. It helped me a lot but my reel is not that smooth. Can u tell me why
anubhav ankit make sure you put all the parts back in order exactly as you took them out, that's is crucial or the parts may not work right
hey i’m having a problem with my drag, once i put up the drag the reel is hard to spin and has resistance. do you know what this could be caused by?
Check your pressure washer.. Maybe you put it wrong..
my drag i locked up what can i do to fix it
If parts are not working so what can I do? How can I get this work properly and smooth.
Bad angles did not help
Wow this guy is awesome

I put it with convex side out and I put everything back together exactly how it was and my drag doesn't even work do you have an exclamation?
The 10mm did not work other than that this was a nice tutorial
