and a shot of Absolute for me.
In reality she'll go on one date with him, then ghost him. Or she'll just tell him she's too busy with her work or whatever, every time he asks her out.
Nah, If she enjoys his company she will continue to date him. That might happen after the first sex though, so make sure you do it right
Yes in that case the date just didn't do it. Ordinary, like all the other dates she had before... The date is your shot to not only show the woman who you are, you can go deeper and show her more of herself. It's an experience, she coming with you and she's getting the full ride of life, the ride she didn't think existed in in what most of us have to come accept as 'reality'
No one is obligated to spend time with you, David
Or get sloshed & go home with Chip & bed him in the night.
High interest only fellas. Don’t entertain a woman that acts aloof unless you want to end up like will & jada! Stay far away from a narcissist woman who doesn’t act like you’re her best option
The best part about this scene is that Hitch genuinely didn't care about whether or not he scored, which funny enough got Sara interested in wanting to know more about that guy. So weird how when we don't show that neediness and we have that 0 fs mindset, people gravitate towards you.
Well yeah he did wanted her, or he wouldn’t have come to talk to her, he PRETEND that he didn’t care, he just played the game the right way
Beautifully put, my friend!
And the way they both talked in 3rd person. Made the interaction more comfortable & less intimidating lol
He knew he scored remember the bartender said she is a regular and good tipper. He left his impression to pick up the next time he sees her.
@@Fbitypeshit This is hardly a game. He honestly said he is a nice guy for her, but there is no way to prove it to her, if she's not willing to give him a chance.

yeah but he knew her name and where she worked. he masterfully got just enough info to take it next level later and also confused her with his abrupt departure. He left her wanting more. The walk away left her wanting more. Smooth
He could tell that after Chip ruined it, that her defenses were super up and there was no way he could honestly get a relationship going. Walking away was the correct move. Left her wanting more.
This movie honestly helped me grow the confidence I needed I honestly had issues really young talking to women. Now it's as easy as breathing. It's so habitual that I forget sometimes a woman would be flirting with me.
It's possible fellas just remember confidence. The rest comes naturally.
Cheers Greg, can already tell you are a hit with the ladies.
Well, it didn't help me, but I had fun watching it nonetheless.

@3:47 a clear gesture that she was interested in him, but Alex "Hitch" Hitchens just says good bye and walks away.... wow🔥 what a scene!
People who are open-handed-no expectations and willing to walk away are immediately perceived as high-value. It’s human nature.😊
3:47 was a wrap! He could’ve asked for her social at that moment 😂
The "you look a lot like my next girlfriend" is a not-go. Why will anyone use it?
Dialogue like this does not exist anywhere in the world ever.
It’s almost like films are exaggerated, alternate realities
I’ve been hit on by a few chips and it is beyond annoying because they really cannot take no for an answer or read the signs
But was there ever an Alex that you came across
We have to be eternally thankful to Chip. Without his interference, we would have never witnessed this amazing approach.
Anybody ever wondered how Hitch would have started the convo if Chip didn't stop by?
If only there was a real life Hitch to help Will get out of his relationship with Jada, haha
There should be a sequel to this movie called 'Ditch', with a guy saving people from relationships that start falling apart
Not to play devils advocate, but these types of issues in the relationships are very common in our society, the only difference is they’re both pretty out there with it.
This scene will always just be ICONIC!
Seconds later, Chip shows his face again trying to scavenge anything:
_"So, umm, I saw your boyfriend leave, do you wanna talk about it and maybe, maybe uh, hug or something?"_

Just like the forces of demand and supply deterrmine the price in the market, so do women on what gets them in a specific time frame. Generally speaking
Not anymore. So enjoy
One of the biggest things I take from this scene is, learn to take no for an answer. No means no - just move on!
Well men and women live different worlds. Men have to compete against each other to win over the prized woman, women don't have to compete at all for their potential mate. They just have to look pretty and boom all the attention goes to that woman. Beta males will simp talk to you like you're a sex object, Alpha Males will talk to you about your life goals with empathy.
I love the fact that he was brief and let her decide is she wants to continue or not
Yup, when I was a "Studly Doright" in the 80's, that was a way I would meet women. Play it straight, natural, no lines, no names, no hand shake introduction unless she initiated it. No complements, just a relaxed smile and a little chit chat. Let her control the moment/set the pace to ease her up. Then, say, "Well, I should be going, it was very nice to chat with you!" Get up slowly, a quick wave back to her, and then find someone a bit away but within earshot, and act like you know them as an acquaintance (a wingman helps here) and tell him you had to run but insist you buy them a drink. Have fun, smile, be a bit animated, engage everyone at the bar, make some laugh, don't be the center of attention but let/make someone else be. Let her check you out, don't look in her direction. Seven out of ten times they would join me at the bar. Three out of ten times I would get their real phone number. I never take a woman home on a first date out of respect, but hanging out all night was my goal in the first place, just have fun and not prey on women for sex - that's the more elusive bonus. Once, I did buy a drink for a woman as I left, but I was truly on my way out and never expected to bump into her again.
Bro that's so cool, you are my perception of cool guy 😆
@@prabeshdahal4957 Not anymore, I am 59 and married... so my "player" days are long gone. Not too long ago I was in the grocery store and a young boy in a suit
with his father was buying flowers. I asked if he was going to a dance and he said yes. I told him this sage advice: If a girl askes you dance, you DANCE with her, even if she is the most unpopular girl in school. It's hard for a girl to ask a boy for a dance. But the key thing is, when you dance with her, ALL the girls will be watching you... you will be aces and virtually no girl will turn you down for a dance after that. But don't look around when you dance with a girl... the attention is to be all on her. Get a wingman to help you know which girls are checking you out. Now, if a boy wants to dance with you, you are on your own, I don't roll that way. It is the 21st century after all [smile].

i didn't connect that, but you are not wrong. i suppose if you walk w swag long enough it is just muscle memory.
"And a beer just wouldn't do it.". Delivery! Sara says "So life's kinda hard all around?". Be honest, Alex! She knew this about his life! And when Chip handed her another glass of apple (citruline fruit) martini, (was it almost empty)? He must have known she was having a really rough and hard week with wirk and all like Alex says, searching for a man, never finding one. Alex says "Not if you pay attention" as he gives the apple martini that Chip gave to her back to the waitress, because this drink is heavy alcohol from her hectic week to relax herself and he feels she doesn't need anymore of this since he is here, seeing if you are paying attention to him doing this. He says she is sending all the right "signals"! What if he is lying to her meaning she really sending all the wrong signals based off of the way he describes her?! In the very beginning of the film he narrates while talking on screen about how when a woman lies to you by the nice comments she makes, shit-testing you, she is either saying "get away from me now" or "try harder, stupid". So he pulls her same lying tricks on her through lying to her with sarcasm to win her over! She says to Chip "this is not code for try harder", where this film shows you what Alex was saying earlier by live example later with Sara! She says to Chip the other side of "try harder, stupid", so with him she means "get away from me now because you are being too nice.". This was what she means to him by way of saying "I'm just not interested (shit-test) but thank you for the 'compliment' of coming over". Coming over to her apartment? Kidding! She says "aw, you can't get 'em to stop?!". She is flattering him about women chasing him. Why doesn't he say "you're funny" rather than "that's funny"? Tailoring this to her? "Keep it simple, stupid", "try harder, stupid", correlation! When Alex says "difficult for a man to speak to a woman who looks like you", he is implying she is so beautiful it intimidating while also expressing flaws in her! "for the 'gentleman' (weak, softy guy who did not take her on the spot) who just left."
He slapped the guy who tried to flirt with her first.
He left the bar at the end to slap Chris 😂
Hitch really knows how to play the game
That’s why you respect bar tenders they the information you might need
His abruptly departure at the end (after getting the most impt info about her - name/ place of work) was a perfect class on "how to arouse a woman's interest" ...The rest was history !

true, because when you don't have the looks to pull it off, you didn't risk anything so you didn't lose anything. he didn't ask her out, so she never rejected him--he self-ejected.
(on a side note, it's ironic he blasts men for having an agenda...when he clearly had one. why start a conversation in a crowded bar with someone who clearly wants to be left alone and is checking their watch for a meeting if she's ugly?)

I think that was one of the noticeable differences between Chip and Hitch. Chip was a bit passive in how he introduced himself, while Hitch leaned forward and was a bit more prideful and confident - saying his first and last name, when we know his nickname is 'Hitch'
@@Joe_Parmesan Sometimes I would sit down next to a lady a bar. Not look at her or say anything for a minute or two. Then staring at the bar I would say: "I think we will have two children, a boy and a girl. We will summer in the Hamptons and winter in Milan." Then turn to her, "Oh! That was rude of me, we haven't been introduced... my name is Paul Romsky. I am fabulously wealthy, I am six feet tall, hell of a dancer... did I mention I am fabulously wealthy?"
@@paulromsky9527 After dropping that line, what would be the response from the women?
@@Joe_ParmesanIt's NOT a pick up line... it's an ICE BREAKER. The old cold opening: "I think we will..." usually gets a nervous laugh at first, but the ice breaks when she realizes I was just being funny. The trick is to not be creepy and to switch your demeanor (to approachable) the instant she responds. It's all about gaining a moment of her interaction to build that moment into another with the hope of starting a decent conversation. About 1 out of 5 women will get up and move away - which is fine because they were not picking up it was a joke and have no sense of humor anyway. 3 out of 5 will have a benign response but don't want to seem to engage any further. But about 1 in 5 will strike up a conversation. Keep it balanced, share experiences and likes equally, don't dominate the conversation, and don't let her do all the talking. Now, if you can get her to laugh and she briefly touches your arm, that is called a "touchback" and it is a less than subtle signal that she may like you. A woman that does not like you would NEVER touch you. NEVER touch her until she gets close (which is usually on a first date after this meeting). Always excuse yourself early in the conversation to give her the idea your meeting was more chance than "enticed". She will know it really wasn't chance, but leaving after a few minutes will make her feel more comfortable and a second "chance" meeting (this time initiated by her) would be more likely. You can't go solo on this, you need a wingman because you need a friend to talk to after you walk away so she can get the upper hand (that you give her) and discretely check you out - of course the whole time you know she is watching you. Use those bar mirrors (not just there for the bartender) and glance (never stare) through them to keep tabs if other guy's are hitting on her and how she reacts to them. If you go stag, that can come off like you are just "zoomin'" the chicks. It's a dance and you have to face a lot of rejection but once in a while you meet someone really nice. Of course you can only use this "trick" once per venue, else it would be just a cheesy pick up line rather than an ice breaker.... women do share notes on their prospects in the powder room [smile].
But you must smile and have a good time... don't over do it, be animated but not obvious. Let her make the decision to come to you. I used to NEVER smile when I was young because I thought tough guys don't smile... I was so wrong. When a woman approached me once and told me, "If you smiled once in a while women would like you." It was a "game" changer.
@@paulromsky9527 I think I see what you're saying now. So, is it sort of like Hitch in this scene, where he playfully created a hypothetical scenario through dialogue? He had Sara playing along too, without being too forward
