    I could imagine when this was considered "amazing" technology. It's actually kind of cool that although more modern, Records still are alive and being made. There's just something so cool about physical etched media. Even though I'll likely never be a recording artist for anyone, I DID have my songs put on a record, and put it in a Jukebox that I fixed up. That alone is just super fun.

    Thanks for the video. My dad had one of these machines, but the horn was lost. Since I wasn't planning to restore or sell it, I just made a horn. It was a fun project, and I enjoyed learning more about the way they worked. Appreciate the variety of content on your channel.

    That was great! Thanks Dave. I still have one functioning Sennheiser transmitter like yours. I might get it out and play around with it.

    That is awesome. Adding fake stereo often give a new life for old records. Just copy a track and add very light eq.

    9:42 Let's take this to the next level, and make it wireless... even though it is wireless. We'll make it *more* wireless.

      @@DaveRatIt makes me wonder what Edison, Marconi and Tesla would think about the progress we future humans have made in all this technology (not including the whole social media goods, bads and uglies).

    • @DaveRat
      @DaveRat  Год назад +1

      Yeah we have access to some cool stuff that is beyond comprehension back then.
      But also the harmonious line of humans liking music and creating complex machines to listen to it stands the test of time

    Really need servicing and greasing the mechanical parts, the brake clutch should be oiled I would say to cut down wow and flatter try soaking in 3 in 1 oil. Is it a felt pad?

    • @DaveRat

      Yes, And also one terabyte of slack audio will require a couple hundred semi trucks to transport the cylinder media
