I was between the 100 and 200 back for a mention, I went with the 200 because while the 100 was VERY fast it has also been decently quick in recent years while the 200 has not been.
Yeah, i mean, podium sub 52 is crazy but two 1:53 lows is just absurd, especially compwring it to some recent meets (Paris, Fukuoka, Budapest Tokyo etc)
2022 was the fastest podium with WR, and 2 sub 52s in Murphy and Magic Man Armstrong, Ndoye Brouard went faster than Armstrong but the WR makes it the fastest podium
Well, I don't know if they had it or not, but at the upcoming Olympics, I know there is to be 50 meter sprints in all 4 strokes. I dl like the sprints best.
Why do you say that a Romanian swimmer broke European (continental) record, but say that a swimmer from US broke American (national) record, rather than America's (continental) record? Two different approaches for the same thing. It doesn't make any sense, so please explain that.
Honestly I kind of forget that the official World Aquatics continental records use Americas instead of separating into North and South America record lists. It probably doesn’t help that I am American and because of that I mostly see references to the national record in a lot of coverage/discussion about some swims which probably influences the way I think about them. But I should try and mention both going forward for better accuracy
@TheSwimScribein the specific case of Men's 100m freestyle, the America's record was faster than the US record, so breaking Cielo's record (former WR for 13 yrs) was the actual achievement over breaking a slower Dressel's time.
I really enjoyed the men's 100 back. pieter coetze's turnaround from WUGs was super impressive and he topped the fastest ever podium in the event

Not to mention:
1. All Sub 52 Podium
2. 3rd place was faster than the Gold Medal in Paris last year

@badslime6453 Guess second fastest then
800 W is the best race
The interest that Summer McIntosh brings to this sport is just insane!!
I'm seated
Jack Alexey's 45.95 split in the men's medley relay though.
Men's 100 back was incredible, 3 swimmers sub 52 secs
400 Free relay and 400 Medley relay are always intense in LCM
Mens 200free was such a good dogfight between Popovic and Hobson
surprised there’s no mention of the men’s 100 back
I am so happy you mentioned men’s 800 and 1500 as a Tunisian, I was very very proud 😂
Finally bro I was legit tweaking waiting for new vid. Thank you😊
Gotta give credit to Luca Orlando. Man was the only individual gold medalist on the men side ❤

i liked men 200br
No goon corner 😔
Is shaine casas going under 1:54? Lay your thoughts
Who are you to tell me to lay my thoughts
i think Grousset’s 100 & 50 fly were overlooked in this one but i cant disagree with the first place at least !

We would say North American record for the American continental record.

@calvintappert3597 nope. We say America's record, which comprises the whole continent - North + South + Central.
Didn’t Australia win
4.100 medley relay was the best race fr
