I digested this season so much better emotionally. I have to laugh at myself but last season I could not handle it. I’m excited for next season. I hope they don’t cancel it, as they have done to all of my favorite shows lately.
Yeah Warner bros made a good job with making emotions (SPOILER ALERT) they mostly trolled everyone when gus got shot by abbot and the funeral scene but we en up seeing that it was aideen’s grave and not gus’s still a really sad moment but I gave me at least a little comfort.
His powers were first shown in season 1. Gus called the herd of deer when he ran off back when he found out he was made in a lab after he, Bear and Big Man found Birdie's house and what was in the attic. And back with the Animal Army when they were going to have the tiger attack Big Man, Gus got the tiger to calm down and go back into the cage she was kept in.
Those footprints in the snow in Alaska look a lot like hoof prints. In season 1, Jeps kid was a goat/minotaur looking hybrid that had hoof feet. I wouldnt be surprised if those hoof prints in alaska belong to Jeps kid.
I honestly really enjoyed this season. Im glad that de singh is still trying to do stuff cause he’s one of my favorite charecters. I waited the full like 2 years for season 2 and I can’t wait for season 3

What I didn't understand maybe its a unanswered question of the show still? Gillian Washingtom who started the program to discover life prolonging treatments or medicine was said to be patient O. She took a treatment before it went through and drug trials, she was impatient and her mistake was supposedly the start of "the sick" or the pandemic. But what I don't understand is how did that result in the births of the hybrids? If that was answered in the show I don't know if I didnt grasp it or if anyone out there was paying more attention please leave a comment.
When I thought Gus had died, I was ready to bury this show slightly below Game of Thrones' ending. Really? The bald Michael Meyers who won't die got him? Fortunately...
It was a bit absurd though that Abbott would survive a herd of 1000 pound Buffalo trampling him. That was the equivalent of nuking the fridge. Thank goodness Abott died for real soon after, and thankfully Gus’ “death” was a fake out. Aimee dying made more sense since she was ill.
I really didn't like when theh killed of Abbot. He is the main villain and with him dead and they new villains I just don't think it's going to be as good.
It didn’t even make sense. There is no way any human would survive a group of 1000 pound buffalos trampling you. Granted he died for real eventually but still It was almost as stupid and ridiculous as the infamous nuke the fridge scene from Crystal Skull

Is very common for people to like the origin better since it was the beginning. Because every sci-fi supernatural show has the first season as it's base story driven i.e. audience were made familiar to the world, the hybrids, the apocalyptic scenario, the emotional part about hoping gus meets his mom, learn his past, making every characters familiar to audience etc. In short. Just take stranger things where the first season was full of mystery & uncovering it. Kids were innocent & they just like the audience didn't know what was going to happen. In the next 3 seasons the characters & the audience already know about the powers & the other world which makes it feel less exciting.
Season one was great. Season two meh. Season two slogged thru the motions of hybrid prison and search for a cure ..the pace went from a 10 in season one to a 2. I watched season one in one sitting with enthusiasm, twice mind you ..season 2 I watched in 3 installments. The ending picked up, but honestly I feel disappointed after waiting 2 years.

The deaths of Abbott's brother, Aimee, Abbott weren't surprising...in season one you had neighbors killing neighbors .adi and rani killing that Karen...jebbs train friend sacrificing his life, the lodge scene with jepp/Gus and his new friend/family had some funny moments, yet touching..just wow moments. Season 2, among the deaths prev mentioned, had the Asian woman kill the other leaders which was just so random since we never even knew these characters ..just meh 😑 😂
Season 1 felt much more like an emotional roller coaster. Season 2 was more of a train getting from the start to end destination. I can see why some may not like season 2 as much as season 1, but I still think season 2 was good. I'm actually happy to not be left an emotional wreck at the end of season 2, whereas the end of season 1 I was a mess.

Season 2 was just all over the place, random things going on, slow, and I agree with the Asian cowboy lady. Where did that come from? Lol Season 2 was close to Willow on Disney+.

They did Johnny so dirty. He’s so kind, and calm and cute at the same time. He didn’t deserve to die. Wendy is annoying as hell.
I thought he was going to end up running with Rani - but now both the hand and heart are gone!
I feel like Wendy was ok, I just really didn't like a lot of Aimee's decisions in the season.
And he can sing😂 I like his character development too, sucks they had to kill him off
Johnny death was symbolic. He represented the only goodness left in General Abbot. By killing Johnny, he murdered his own soul.

100% agree, the ending of season 1 left me an emotional wreck. This season ended on a much more optimistic (yet, still emotional) note for the future.
