I found a hack saw worked nicely since I didn't have a cutting wheel tool. You can't just hack through it like a log, though, because the blade rarely goes evenly through hollow plastic and you'll end up with a crooked cut. I taped it just like in this video, then used the hack saw to etch out a groove all along the edge of the tape for the full circumference of the inlet tube. Then I just kept cutting a little more all around it till it was off. Easy and a little less "loss" due to the blade thickness. Anyway, thanks for posting this. I just bought a Hellcat box/light-tube and this video was the deciding factor. Thanks again.
Did the same install, and there's no noteable sound change or performance gain. However installing the HC lower seems to be a right of passage in owning a Hemi Challenger. I did the lid primarely to get the SRT logo since I have a SRT 392. The HC lid offeres no other benefit than the SRT logo. So those looking to upbadge or add the SRT logo to match their SRT 392, then the $60 is worth it. I also went with the MAHLE LX 3482 Air Filter to get 1055cfm over the OEM 6.4L filter rated at 730cfm. Great video, helpful for those wanting a cheap CAI solution that keeps the car stock looking. FYI the SRT with HID you only need to remove the headlight cap, 3 tabs, and if you're lucky the tabs won't break!
I ordered the kit but it Comes with a afe oil filter that’s 66 bucks alone is that same as the hellcat original filter as far as ccfm etc or better since expensive filter
Haven’t had any issues. It’s how the hellcats come from the factory. That’s also why the filter is there just in case some water reaches it, the filter won’t allow it through.
Could You PLEASE provide a Factory part number for that SPECIFIC Hellcat SRT Lid? I have a 19 Scat Pack That I have Everything to do this mod with But the Lid, I want my Factory vent hose to hook to the lid like Yours, but Every lid I find Doesn't have the Outward Nipple on the side of the lid for the hose to fit over so it hooks onto the lid top. This info. Would be Greatly Appreciated!!!
I had tried looking and could not find a specific part number on the lid. It’s from a specific year hellcat, I want to say around 2016, it’s from an earlier year. I had to keep looking all over til I found one.
Ok, Thanks for checking. I thought that the part number might have been on the bottom side of the lid Somewhere. If you Run across Another one, I'll take it! Or if Someone has a Part number Please post it up! Very Nice Job on the Video and for Keeping it Looking So Clean and Factory looking!

CAI is a supporting mod. To get any benefit you have to also get a 84MM TB and port the manifold. You can also port out the CAI
Brilliant ✨🔥
If there’s a difference in performance, I’m not noticing any…I’ve got one installed
does water get to the filter through the air intake by the headlight ? it looked like a clear shot to the filter box

Dude can you add the part numbers to the description. I keep seeing the tube doesn't fit the widebody for some reason
68322216AA is the part number of the tube I used
Out of the cars you’ve had/driven, which would you say is the most fun to drive?
The cobra hands down is my favorite
@@pfmustang happy to hear that! I’ve been trying to find a mystichrome, but it’s pretty hard
Just got a 21 rt do I need the upper intake or just the lower hellcat air box ?
Only the bottom is required, the top is optional
@@pfmustang ok cool I found a kit do you think the non-silencer tube is worth getting ?

What foam/weather trim did you use?
Being I purchased a used intake, it still had all the foam installed.
Do you have the stock throttle body on your scat pack
Yes stock TB.
Do you have the part numbers
Everything I had was documented in the video
Sounds the same bro
