If it took itself a bit more seriously, lots of dead memes kinda ruin the atmosphere sometimes, I just wish ACOT would be a bit more serious. It was fun at first, but after some time, I kinda wish it had a more dark, gloom or scarier text flavour. Besides that, this mod is a must for me. The end game seems so bare without it its crazy.
We constructed a gate to another dimension, a place we thought was the well of souls. We would touch the the face of god, and in doing so become gods ourselves. But we forgot a gate my swing both ways... We were so consumed with getting out, we never thought of what we may let in. They are a power beyond comprehension, a hunger beyond understanding, they are anti-life itself.
Hooray we have Ancient Cache of Technologies stories coming in. I assume the hyper powerful Ai character lady will be making her appearance very soon. It's time to show some forces who rival and surpass even the Gigastructural Engineering factions like the Aeternum and the Blokkats. Those are some giant gateways by the way.
I ran a game with acot and giga enabled the stekllaborne killed the aetermum and then the next game killed the blokkats because for some reason stellaborn are unkillable their ships have inf hp and dmg and wipe out everything. The only way i have ever killed anything of theirs even when fully reserached alpha stech and stellaborne was to open console and type kill on their fleets they even killed the corporation too

This story reminds me of the Dresdenverse by Jim Butcher. The Outer Gates are the boundary between this reality-- the material world and the spirit world -- and somewhere else, and for the whole series, the Outsiders have been fighting to get in.

I think you should make a lore video about the "Synthetic Gods" origin from the DarkSpace mod. You could make it to where it's from the point of view of the human empire you use in some of your other lore videos, like how you did in your TX-130 lore video (really love that video super unique and cool)! You could also make a part two where it's the perspective of the synthetic gods, but it's instead it's about their rise and fall (similar to how you did your TX-130 video but with a different storyline)! But of course these are just ideas you can execute it however you want, that's if you do make a video about it.

I have played this mod and it is interesting and fun as long you get a load of systemcrafts from Gigastructures mod. The only trouble is when you win against the Stellarborne you get all their tech and it makes you disgustingly overpowered. You’ve basically beaten the game at that point and you’re in no danger.

May I ask what kinds of ships and infrastructure does Ancient Cache of Technologies have that is different from Gigastructural Engineering? I am aware there are atleast some big ships and platforms and one structure that is almost like a Birch World but not quite such as what the Stellarborne possess in their arsenal that are almost the size of arkships. Though nothing quite up to the same scale of a Qaesarcraft visually from what I been able to see.
Nothing playable like Gigastructures, at least from what i've experienced. There are additional tech levels, this is what makes you stronger, they're essentially stat sticks. There arn't planetcraft etc. like in Giga
@@thorshammer7883 It becomes stronger with tiers, the delta one might be a bit worse since you don't get any unique Herculean components at that point, whereas the systemcraft already gets its existential erasure beams. But at Alpha and above (which is where the herculean is most likely to be built), you get the special herculean components (weapons) and also a W-slot that can delete empires. The ordinary Herc weapons although their base numbers are lower than the existential erasure beam, benefit from all three repeatables as they count as Energy, Kinetic and Explosive weapons. They also do extra damage with ship size like torpedoes. There's also a single Spectral Projection weapon that you can put in a single T-slot, which is much stronger. At Sigma you can put both the Sigma version and Alpha version on the same herculean, so it gets better. The only way Systemcraft keeps up with that, if you use another mod (ACOT Celestial Reactors) that gives them ACOT tier star reactors to power more erasure beams, but I think that is just unnecessary. Herculeans are still take longer to build and are more expensive upfront (although they can eventually repay that cost back through their resource production.), and require all the reimaginations first, so systemcraft which are much easier to build shouldn't be buffed to keep up with herculeans as they are already good with much less investment.

You need the Secrets Beyond the Gate submod for it. It is not new, in fact it is one of the oldest modded crises still around.
