After 1983 IR forayed into commercial music compositions and lost his golden touch. By 1983. MSV too lost his prime and IR had no effective competition. Even his mediocre compositions became commercially super hit after 1985 and hence IR started with run of the mill songs with rare gems. Hence the songs became monotonous unlike his pre 1985 compositions.Surely post 1985 songs are nowhere near to pre 1985 songs of IR with few exceptions .
