Your designs are great, but the majority of these flags are good and the redesigns add too much complexity. And a seal in the middle is not easily replicable or recognisable at a distance. It's definitely a fun thought experiment tho. I'd love to see you redesign some of the world flags that are literally just seals on a background into something more simplistic, might be fun to work in the opposite direction

@@jocanolag-6745 simple flags tend to look better than more complex flags. Japan and South Africa have very unique flags that can easily be drawn by a child. That's what a flag is supposed to be. Something that represents your country as well as being simple and easy to distinguish from a far distance.

I didn't agree to the change of the Japanese flag, because even though the Japanese flag looks simple it had a deep meaning on their history. That's why they called land of the rising sun, and lastly. I think the Japanese flag were use during 1870 after Meiji restoration, so yeah I like Japanese flag and once again I didn't agree to the change.
Agree. Less is more, especially in flags. Flags aren't an artboard, they are meant sybolize a certain idea or curture. They have to be recognizable, even from a distance or waving. This works the best with a minimalistic design. Japan is really simple, but easy to regognize, iconic and represents the japanese culture very well in a minimalistic way.

@@StarlightSkarlet10K when you want to create a flag for a country, there's a few things you need to know
the flags rules are :
1 : the design must be simple, simple enough for a child to draw.
2 : the color and symbole of your flag must mean something.
3 : avoid putting word on a flag.
4 : avoid adding to much small tiny details on a flag, it must be simple.
5 : avoid writing the country name and/or the date of his creation.
here's an example : take the Ukraine flag, it's very easy to make and to remember it, it has two color, blue and yellow, the blue mean the sky and the yellow represent the wheat field.

1.Please fix Indonesia's flag. It's just 2 colors and it's very hard to tell from the flag of Monaco
2.Please fix Malaysia's flag. It's not really that complicated to compare it with the American flag. I just want to change it a bit.
3.Please fix Nepal's flag, It really stands out of all the rectangular flags(or square flags)
4.Please fix Canada's flag. It looks really boring except for the leaf in the middle. So maybe change it a bit?

this is just disregarding the history that are symbolized in their current flags. the reasons the first guy had for japan was awful, the red circle symbolised a red sun over a white landscape if im correct. Other flags may have justification but japan was massacred

Belize 🇧🇿 A golden rule of vexilogy is to keep the flag so simple that a child can draw it easily, there is simply too much going on in the Belize flag.
Australia🇦🇺and New Zealand🇳🇿Both of them have been independent countries for years, it simply doesn’t make sense that they have the flag of their colonial overlord in their flag and both countries have let their citizens make their own flags which were way better than the current ones.
Mozambique🇲🇿I feel like there’s something wrong here it could be the stripes or the AK47 but I don’t know.
British Indian Ocean Territory 🇮🇴This flag just looks horrible, there is no need for a palm tree on a wavy background and the flag could’ve been way better if they did in a striped style.
Haiti🇭🇹When you think it’s a PNG but it’s actually a JPEG.

Uganda🇺🇬 Black. Yellow. Red. Black. Yellow. Red. It’s bad enough that Germany and Belgium went with that colour combination, but at least they didn’t do it twice. Uganda’s flag ends up looking like everything your grandma bought at a Tupperware party in the 1970s with a Nando's logo stuck on it.
Maldives🇲🇻 The flag of the Maldives has the same problem that the flag of Haiti has, it looks like somebody stuck an image onto a background that was probably meant for somewhere else, and then hoisted it up a flagpole. Only the Maldives decided against having some colours that go well together and just went with red and green.
Bhutan🇧🇹 Look at that dragon, now imagine trying to draw that as a 10-year-old alone in your room because nobody wants to play with the weird flag boy. It’s impossible to make it look any good, it’s far too complicated to be on a flag. And the same goes for you, Wales🏴.

Well is kinda hard to change the Taiwanese flag to that because the meaning of the regular flag is"青天白日滿地紅“which the red part is the blood of the brave Taiwanese soilders during the civil war and WW2, blue is sky,and the white part is sun.
