    Ginkgo is one of the most popular trees in Japan.
    It's popular as an autumn food.
    I'm going to show you an interesting way to cook!

    ~ Ingredients for 10 pieces ~
    10 pieces of gingko nuts
    salt
    ~Directions~
    1. Put nuts in the envelope.
    2. Microwave the envelope for about 40 to 50 seconds. The nuts will burst in the microwave.
    3. Peel the hard shell and inside skin, and put a little salt.

    This is a lifesaver. I had the misfortune of never having grown up around ginkgo trees or their nuts before but I got the opportunity to acquire some recently and jumped on it. This video is super efficient and to the point. Knowing they're so easy makes me very happy. =>

    I tried 900W for 60 seconds but the peanut do not pop..why is that?

      I don’t know exactly, but I sometimes crack them with a hammer before microwaving.

    Its safe to eat 10 ginkgo nuts? I heard that you should only eat 8 ginkgo nuts because they are still a little toxic after cooking.

      It’s said that it depends on the person.
      There are some people who develop toxic symptoms with less than 8 ginkgo nuts, and others don’t with more than 10 nuts, so you should take care considering your condition.
