I just watched this video from Los Angeles California. I really loved what you’ve done to this apartment. Even though you said you didn’t have the experience to renovate, your attention to details is exceptional. I felt like I was watching professional craftsmen do the work. Bravo.
Hi!! Thank you SO much, this means a lot :) we had zero experiences when starting, but you learn something new with every project. We have a saying that goes "You’re building your first house for your enemy, your second one for your friend and your third one for yourself" - and it's so true 😂
Those cracks are a worry😢😢😢... I had similar on my ceiling and had it overboarded... as it was at risk of collapse😢... the apartment here is very nice... hoping many happy years there... ❤

Absolutely gorgeous!! And I can relate to having to rehire new workers to do the same project. We just went through that this year. Paid for the house to be painted indoors, only to find that they had created such a mess that we had to rehire new painters to redo the work. Plus, I had to sand all the door frames in the house because they left thick globs of paint all over them. Home repairs and restoration are a pain but it's nice when it's all done properly.

Wow! Such a beautiful job! I’m in California but my parents are from Croatia. The city they’re from has very few older homes & flats too. The majority of apartment buildings are in the Brutalist style which is not my favorite.
