Okay for the people who think this is less than their usual show
1) it's the first day of Warped Tour, they haven't been on tour since Black Mass which ended a few months ago
2) their best friend just passed away (Chris Holly, their guitar tech). They're probably still torn about it.
3) the sound is always weird at the beginning of Warped. They always fix it within the next few dates.
4) they're working their asses off! And watching a video is sooo much different then watching live. Give them credit for getting up there in the heat and performing a kick ass show!
They had a 9 Day Break between Download and Warped so.
Music Is Life or how about this: they suck live. all the videos ive seen of them live, no matter the quality they sound like shit. andy is off key, ashley is off key and strains to hit low notes. ashley isnt even playing bass half the time. dont get me wrong, i love bvb's records and i respect them but they suck live
Weston Letson my solution is simple. get ashley to shut the fuck up, and get andy a pre amp for his mic with vocal effects on it.

Ok wait! How can Andy sing perfectly with gum in his mouth while I can barely speak properly under pressure?! And how the hell can Jake, Jinxx, and Ashley play guitar/base amazingly while head banging while I can barely walk in a straight line if I as much as tilt my head?!?! How?!?! First few dates of warped always have sound issues. But later into the tour they fix all the sound issues and it sounds amazing! And ever since BVBS guitar tech / best friend died they just seem drained. We just have to let them grieve and become stronger like the kickass bvb I know they are! 😝

This version of "The Legacy" is much heavier than the one that they shot the official video for back in the 2011/2012 time period.They sound much, MUCH heavier AND better this way!!! They can, and will, give groups like Metallica and Slipknot a run for their money. In fact-they've already started to!!!!

wish I could hear more of CC's drums. I love how solid he is, plus I the guitar/bass work is solid, and the vocals are really good, especially considering how hard a solid scream is to pull of live. I remember seeing these guys live, along with August Burns Red and Beartooth, and all 3 were fantastic.

Yep, over Slipknot. I get that BVB fans want to see their favourite band win the award but really, if those BVB fans actually saw the insanity that is a Slipknot show their minds would be changed.
+ChernovFan100 Bvb and Slipknot are my two favourite bands, honestly I would say Bvb is better live performance wize than Slipknot. Slipknot has crazier shows because of the Pyro and the crowd being insane but the band themselves is not as good live as Bvb. Back during Iowa Slipknot was better live, but since All Hope is Gone their live stuff has really dropped in quality.
