I was last in Pattaya in 2006 when it was controlled by the Russian Mafia. There were Russians everywhere & their flags flew from nearly every major building development. They even controlled lap dancing bars with surly dancers trafficked from Eastern Europe. When I returned home I read that 2 of these girls had been shot dead & their bodies dumped on Pattaya beach. What a change from my first visit there in 1983.

I go to the the Aeon ATM one time a week so in one year I saved 3640 bhat in ATM withdrawal fees. All other ATMs ask 220 per withdrawal. Aeon only 150 bhat.

Might be worth covering the re entry permit and difference between multi and single....you may have covered it before I acknowledge......its only come to light for me as another guy had gone down recently the agent route for his visa and included the multi entry re permit

Can I add this tip make sure before traveling your email accounts are fully backed up and recoverable, microsoft blocked mine because of suspicious log in being in Thailand and it's been impossible to recover the account.

Question, I get me tm30 done by agent also as I visit Thailand regular to private/rented residence but on day my last trip after getting my tm30 I wondered what was involved ? So one morning I took a trip down to Jomtien about 8:15am I think and there was long queues already. There was two long queuesI one left one right, so I asked a few people which would be for the tm30 as I only seen signs for 90day reports ? Unfortunately I didn’t find out as the people I asked were agents who didn’t want to pass on the info or people actually doing there 90 day reports ….could you shed some light on which queue to join Wyn ?

Hi just ask one of the officials who will guide you and give you a ticket number or if you have an agent they normally get it for you for a small fee.👍
