Oh my goodness, I live in Essex and my I was passing a neighbours house admiring her huge mint plant in the front garden (she has all her herbs in the front garden for neighbours to pick) and she asked me to help myself! I made mint chilli and coriander chutney and vegetable pakoras for her to see what het mint had been turned into 😂 We are now good friends! I guess us Indians have to share food.
Indians are very hospitable and treat guests like God. But i feel this culture is slowly changing especially among the new generations in foreign lands.

I had Indian neighbor..could smell strong curry ..even their house was end of our townhouse complex (six houses down). She seems very nice but unfortunately we didn’t stay there long enough to get to know her. My friend is married to Indian guy. He is very nice ..when she told me she had difficulty getting married due to parents..I thought she was talking about her parents. She told me he is from upper class India & both of his parents are doctors. They expect her to have grand child right away due to her age but they were not able to ..she tried infertility clinic but she start having issues & she had to stop. She told me her mother in law insisted them having a kid no matter what. I think her mother in law suggested that her husband to go to India to have a baby (I am not talking about adoption). My girlfriend was not happy & her husband did not agree with his mom. They still do not have any child. Wish they would just consider adopting a child but due to culture I am not sure his parents will agree. It may be strange to hear this but most Asian countries like to have biological child rather than adoption. And marriage is not about just husband & wife but also involve parents.
Wealthy people want heir to property. Class DIVIDE is serious concern . Legacy is serious thing among rich Indians. My doctor cousin Married his receptionist. Not many cared. But she is white Canadian so I guess they'll have fair skinned babies... that will shut up many nosey aunties 😂
Sorry to hear about your friend's family but kindly don't generalize. I know many people within friends and family who have adopted boys and girls. Adoption in India is very much accepted, appreciated and people see children as image of God. Some people even chose to adopt without trying fertility treatments. But please understand adoption in India is very difficult because the government has made the process insanely hard !
If you don't know then let me tell you: if you give them something in a container like food just how they did in the video, they won't give the container back empty and always fill it with something nice because indians think that thia is a way of representing generousity and kindness 😊❤

East Indian people are peaceful and kind- they mostly keep their fights within their own land and their family. They tend to defend from enemies and not takers of things that are not their own. They will give you their food/ share and do without if you are hungry and in need.They treat strangers kindly.They love their children- they love education and to save money for the future .very hard workers. Of course there are exceptions but this is for the majority. Beautiful clothes and music

This is not entirely true. It depends on people. Not everyone likes to take care of your kids for you or give away a whole meal every now and then. Be a good neighbour, Indian or not.
