I'm so glad someone can admit to not loving / liking a plant... while winterizing some outdoor plants (before bringing them inside before the cold front) I noticed I passed by these plants wondering if I was going to be honest with myself and get rid of them (sigh). I decided I just didn't like them (much less love them) anymore - syngonium milk confetti, syngonium albo, philodendron micans and the Philodendron birkin. These were impulse purchases but was beautiful none the less and still are but not in my collection - Thanks for sharing
Yes! I was drooling to get my hand on pink princess and now that I have it it’s not looking how I expected it… so I chopped and prop and see what will happen.. also, philodendron brandtianum.. I might do the same and maybe add a moss pole so I can get the bigger leaves of my dreams 😆 and philodendron mamei… spider mite loves it… 😢 I also want the big leaves.. I think that’s it for now.. 😅 ✌🏻
Ya wow that aurea is really nice!!! I love the more subtle variegation because, ya, its not all brown and crispy! Smart purchase sir. If you decide to stop caring for it of course there are plenty of folks who will enjoy it…
Definitely surprised to see Aurea on the list! I’m not a huge fan of the yellow variegation to begin with, but it seems like most of the internet is obsessed with them! It’s refreshing to see another view on them! Albo I’m still obsessed with & I’m collecting whiter and whiter ones, but definitely agree with the Aurea 😅
Not sick of the aurea yet. The joepii in my opinion just gets to crazy. I chop as soon as it looks like a helicopter 😝. I did not have any luck with the variegated adansonii. Chucked that in the trash. And the as soon as Jose bores me, it throws a gorgeous block variegated leaf and I’m in love again. We all have plants we fall in and out of love with.
I know EXACTLY how you feel - I ended up selling most of my philodendrons (except for my Monstera’s & Florida Ghost/Variegated Florida Beauty) - I’m definitely an anthurium girl 😂
I got sick of a lot of philodendrons and a lot of my alocasias. I got rid of many and kept corms or cutting to see if I love them again. Right now I’m just into my Hoyas and the few Monsteras I have.
I've never really been found of joepii but i do believe that if i get one i'll grow it alongside with a epipremnum skeleton Key because they're just the opposite of eachothers and i love the skeleton Key ❤❤❤
If you had a choice between a variegated Billy , normal Josepii or variegated Amazonica (all same size medium ) which would you pick or hold its value . I’m not familiar with these 3
I have been growing my verrucosum for 2.5 years and finally admitted to myself that I definitely don’t love it and it isn’t worth the effort so… she gone
I have a Japanese tricolor adonsonii that's mostly white and the browning has been so heartbreaking lol Slowly starting to fall out of love with it also!
Variegated adonsonii has been my problem child. I can't seem to keep the variegation, despite how much light or cuttings. The aurea and the albo has been an issue...ill probably chop and sell
Shocked to see Jose Buono on the list 😮 Tho I was never a Joepii fan to begin with so. 😆 I miss watching your videos more regularly. 😢 I’m super busy right now and had to delete the RUclips app so I don’t get distracted. Much love!
I definitely have gotten sick of plants. I got rid of almost everything except Hoyas and now mostly concentrate on th😂m
I'm the same most of mine r hoya now. X
I'm so glad you made this video. When I tell ppl I'm out of love with monstera albo & aurea, I get HATE looks. LOL
Hahaha RIGHT 🤣

Good choices for you Kevin as the majority of your plants are huge & thriving beautifully!
Oh man happens all the time. I want a plant, get it, then kinda like meh a few months later. So bad. 😅 Happened with some Hoya cuttings lol.

You're a riot! Love your videos!!
Your Aurea is stunning. 💚

I am fatigued by my Hoyas! I like them small but the tangle of tendrils as they get larger stresses me out 😢
Hahaha this is so true the tendrils stress me out too 🤣
it’s happen to me for sure! the joepii for me! i think is the long petioles that i dont like! but yeah there has been a few you are not alone!
Kevin and his high expectations….😂
Paraiso Verde
Omg right
Hi, can you please tell me, what kind of netpot is the one where your Monsteras are in. Or is it a combo netpot and black bucket? Thanks!!
Jose buono definitely! Taking up to much space and varigation unstable 😢

Oh I do have an indonesian adonsonii mint and I absolutely love it!
Variegated adonsonii has been my problem child. I can't seem to keep the variegation, despite how much light or cuttings. The aurea and the albo has been an issue...ill probably chop and sell
When are we going to meet Future Kevin. Do you keep him locked under the stairs?
uh oh 👀😁💚
Haha uh oh is right 🤣
RIP the fifth one
I think you wouldn’t be falling out of love with the aurea if she had more variegation 🙈
Long petioles with a long internodal spacing is a no no for me. The only way out of it is to have multiple cuttings in a single pot
Yes you’re insane. Love l. I love you’re crazy to not like the aurea. I love them.
I dont like the aurea and think your thai constellations are a lot nicer. It takes up a lot of space, I would sell it
❤❤❤
💚💚💚
💚💚💚
Michael does not want a dehydrated plant
Liked this video. You can be such a cutie
First one
You’re the best 😘☺️
i realised that all variegata have problems . so i prefer to avoid them
I have to agree I’m soooo over joepii to be honest 😅😅😅😅
Hahahahha yasss

Aw thanks for the comment! Hopefully things get less busy 💚
Don't you do my girl aurea like that.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m with you on the joepi. Not a pretty looking one.
Weird aaaayyyyyy
