    This is what brought me to the Catholic faith. For me to understand the sorrow I was living with daily. Sad that I was lost majority of my life without Jesus in it. Sad that I wasn't raised in the faith as my grandparents have. Sad that I didnt know the Lord enough to have my son baptized when he was born. Now I live daily learning how to be closer with Him. Attending mass every weekend although im still not baptized in unity with His body. I have gotten on the list for RCIA classes, hoping my son will start as well. God willing, I will be baptized next Easter. For my son; it will be a couple years, because he is only twelve. I keep reminding myself that all good things will come in time. After all, Jesus did spend three years teaching His disciples.
    God bless you, Mother Natalia. You were the first I had found when turning to the faith. Thank you for being a faithful servant of our Lord. Christ light in you has taught me so many things. I love you! 💗🙏

    Every time I have lapsed into materialism (i.e. love of money) it was always driven by sense of emptiness and meaninglessness. Like any other form of excess, the impetus behind our fixation with money, or the goods that it can buy, it is always the result of a void that we are desperately trying to fill. The problem is that so much of our economy is shaped by people having this void so as to rapaciously crave material comforts, that any serious attempt to fill that void with what is truly fulfilling is met with consternation by society at large.

      100%. I find my relapses to familiar sins to be correlated with a sense of meaninglessness... also a sense of self-hatred (unworthiness); once I feel pathless and hateful, I quickly justify my way into mistreating myself with the bulimia of various pleasures. "Jesus, I am unworthy, and I need You."

      What is truly fulfilling in this world? What is something that nobody can take away from you? Only your present faith. Present because even the mind can be taken away.

    People are so obsessed with themselves. God made living so awesome that we get consumed by our own bodies and egos. We are so removed from heaven we try to make heaven here.

      And sometimes we are so removed from Heaven and we know it - and even lean into it, almost in spite. God have mercy.

      This is why Paul says that it isn't through logic and reason that men can turn to God. By forfeiting the material world, we lose our lives in the pursuit of Heaven.

    Good stuff! I sold a horse that I didn't want to sell. I knew I needed to and asked God's help to let go. God was good to me and I had. Yet I would cry and be sad knowing that I may never ride a horse again. I knew I needed to be grateful that the Lord allowed me to have horses and I was , yet I would be very sad. I was happy for the lady that purchased my mare because she had lost her horse a few months back unexpected. And the buyer is such a good mama to her. Yet I would cry. One day while walking , and im crying lol I heard the Lord say to me why are you crying, cry for your children. Oh wow! The Lord showed me where I needed to cry and to pray... for my children that are struggling with their walk with the Lord. I haven’t cried since that day. I told the Lord thank you and pray for my children and friends and family to know God. Thank you Mother Natalia for this beautiful conversation . I look forward to every Sunday youtube to watch you and learn from you. Thank you for all you do for us ❤

    "We are constantly seeing in people WHAT WE CAN GET FROM THEM + HOW WE CAN HAVE MORE THAN THEM." I have never done this too anyone for the past 22 years of my life. But now at 36, I realize how Christianity has SET ME UP TO BE GULLIBLY EXPLOITED preicsely by the sort of people who DO CARE ABOUT HOW TOO "get more from me" and "have more than me" while CASTING ME DOWN INTO THE LOWEST GUTTER during what otherwise could have been the best years of my life how TAKEN FROM ME. Your Christianity is the PARASITIC FORCE which DOES THIS, and has DONE precisely THIS to people like me, MY ENTIRE LIFE. That is the ACTUAL "TRUTH."

    I'm disabled because of a progressive disability. I'm sad because I don't have the resources to make life more manageable. I already know God won't heal me. Am I really in a state of sin if I'm sad because I had something taken away from me that we were all meant to be able to do?

    Remember philanthropy is not real charity. It's a business model. Give directly and do not seek a tax write off, or you risk fooling yourself, convincing yourself it's ok because even though you still benefit at least you're helping. No. That will not do. It must be REAL charity.

    • @AustinRasch-p2y
      @AustinRasch-p2y 4 месяца назад +2

      Giving a dollar and getting 20 cents back isn’t donating for the write off. It is charity.
      God says, pay what is due to Caesar. But he doesn’t say to over pay.
      This isn’t to say you’re wrong to tell people to donate directly as well. But a lot of times organizations are more equipped to handle things than me as an individual. So doing both is just fine and a prudential judgement on where best your resources are used for God’s glory.
