Velox is sadly MR fodder even with the marginal statistic increases afforded to it in the prime version. The more ideal build would be to use viral on your pet or from nourish and not add viral " at least not with it having a higher weight, use an unranked cold or toxin." Those 2 free slots allow a lot more potential build diversity. If you're running energized munitions or have pistoleer, this thing could be a heck of a lot of fun? Velox has to compete with dojo weapons, incarnons, and kuva/tenet weapons. I don't see it as being competitive because Cycron alone dumps so much status per clip that you can pop 215 heavy with just heat alone.
Hello Friend! Just remember unranking your viral mods reduces your status chance by 90% and reduces elemental flat damage by 90%. The only 'pro' that comes out of this is MAYBE more slash procs due to a lower viral weighting, but because you're losing 90% status chance it's likely negligible.
