you nailed it! i like the way you ran those hoses. if it were me, i'd leave them. they're hidden for the most part. as for the exhaust manifolds, i'd suggest header wrap. i've done it on my ducati and it works very well. plus, i like the look. those exhaust manifolds started out beautifully with that BBQ paint, but those scratches. i know it couldn't be helped. i've been waiting for your latest video. you do a nice job on them. keep it up one more thing.....when you are cutting threads, be sure to reverse the tap every few revolutions. it was sped up, but it didn't look like you reversed the tap. it cleans the threads as you're cutting them. i'm gonna run into these same issues when my swap gets started. this video really helps to see how they get solved. i'll be watching this a few more times.

Really appreciate the feedback! I'm most likely going to try and touch up spray on the top of the manifolds to make them not look that scratched haha. Next time I thread something I'll back out a few more times. I did do it a little but definitely not enough. Thankfully I got lucky and the thread came out good 😅

Try a 90 degree compression fitting on the heater core .

You got that stated as a 65 why does it have a 1966 grill in it looks more like a 1966 and a 65

Yeah I was confused at first too, but late model 65s came with the 66 grill. I forgot exactly what month was the cut off but this is a 65!!

Did you make that header, doing same swap - having issues on the drivers side header fitment.

Fat fender garage actually has direct fit headers that won't require any cutting!
