The "Mangelepa" group came as a large group of artistes from DRC around the same time but not all ended up in the core Mangelepa group. Some ended up as Bwambe Bwambe, Les Kinois, Baba Nationale, Pepelepe, and Viva Makale.and other smaller less known groups that came out of this large group of musicians coming from DRC. Often it was difficult to tell who was who and in which group as they often played musical instruments and sung across different groups at the same time. It was the peak of Zairois Musics.

Uyo mzee aungane na Bana Mazembe wako apa Kenya and they are doing great. I lov their songs are very young men.

I watched evani kabila kabanzes interview by mary atwoli. His story is similar to what evani said so i think he was in mangelepa at some capacity.
I can't remember him too. He can't do the Embakasi line well..i doubt he was a front runner in Mangelepa. He would have mentioned Kai Kai and Vivi.
