That looks insanely fun. Cool looking bike too. I just re-started looking at dirt bikes again and I'm used to the big 5. Don't know much about this company but these bikes look very nice.
@SgtDamien All Husabergs (except for the 125) DO have E-start. As do most KTMs (including the 250 and 450 SX motocross bikes), and most all 4 stroke Japanese enduro bikes.
That yellow and blue look great regardless of being basically the same bike as a KTM as I don't care for the color orange. I'd like to ride there also. That's awesome countryside.
So awesome. I want a TE300 and a street legal FE390 please! What I don't get is, why a 125? Last KTM 125 I rode was very peaky, not good for enduro at all. I wonder how much better this one is. But still, why not at least use the 150 if not the 200?
@MegaGouch 2-strokes ARE very easy to change the power characteristic. It would be interesting to ride a TE125 and see how much better the powerband is. But it still leaves the question, why not use the 144cc engine? Gives you more power everywhere, or same peak and more low end. But forget both, I would have just used the 200 engine.
@TheOfficialKC, @ strokes are very easy to change the power characteristics. The bike probably just has a different shape expansion chamber and different port timing, and power valve settings and a heavier flywheel. Besides a standard Jap 125cc has very usable mid range power if you've got decent throttle control.
Would there be some power increase on an 125cc, if i could fit a exhaust from, say a 250cc or bigger(500cc)? Lets say i knew a smith who was very good at welding, and he was able to fit one of those pipes on the bike. Would it be anything i could feel/hear when riding?
@SgtDamien Have you ever kick started a dirtbike? They're pretty easy, I once rode a old TT600 and that was a absolute pig to start, but modern 2 strokes dirt bikes, especially 125s are stupidly easy to start. 4 Strokes are a bit harder, but still not tobad.
ich glaube nicht aber ich möchte nechstes jahr auch mit einer 125cc husaberg auf der straße fahren dürfen, ab 2013 kömmt ja so ein gesetz in Österreich wo man ab 16 Jahren 125cc fahren darf oder ?
@SgtDamien Like other people said, most off-road bikes now have electric start. KTM 4-stroke mx bikes do too. The negatives of e-start is twofold. 1) they are more expensive, and 2) they weigh more. e-start can add like 10lbs to a bike, more if you leave the kickstarter on it. I don't care for e-start. I think the lighter (and more reliable) kickstart is better. Kickstarting a 2-stroke is easy so the weight savings is more beneficial than the convenience.
Nice :) I had the Fe250, Fe350, Fe450 and Fe501! Best bikes ever :) I uploaded some edits of them, check out my ENDURO IS AWESOME if you want to see me and the bikes in action :)
Then I'm just as you are. But I do still think you can ride in such a place legally, just if you ask the owner before you even try to drive there. I love driving in the woods alone, I hate tracks....
HUSABERG WILL NEVER DIE

So you choose your bike by it's sound?

Hopefully we will get new husabergs that are actually named after husabergs and produced from Thema as a own manufacturer again
Yes it is, acually there is a newer generation out yet. The 2013 Model Year. :)
All you need to add: your riding skills!
na super ...
@SgtDamien Because it's much simple to start the engine this way, less parts causes less problems.
@XXLChristopher1984
Stimmt, laut Homepage gibt es keine FS 570 mehr.. Was aber nicht sein kann, da sie ja erst 2009/2010 raus gekommen ist..
