Gatto is always masterful....but r/s is way too distant...comping is bad, has no sense of what's happening around him....moreover the general lack of conviction in technically expressing ideas is highlighted in the garbled ideas at 2:48 (II-V-I in Bb (Cm7/9 - F7/#9 etc.) or 3:54. Some interesting "Kirklandesque" ideas tho, like the F-D-F-Bb-C-D (essentially a Bb major arpeggio making it an extended Cm7 (9/11/13 etc)) on Cm at 3:18 or so...
